I am often asked what my favorite Apps are — either to help me be more productive, to help me better manage my home and life, or even just for fun.
So while I use lots of different Apps on a regular basis, I’m sharing my favorites today — all of which were free!
I realize you might be thinking that Scrambled Egg Pizza sounds really… interesting (to put it nicely). But I promise that if you love eggs, you’ll LOVE this recipe.
As with all my recipes, you can mix and match ingredients to fit your family’s taste buds… and it’s actually a very frugal breakfast or dinner.
I used to be so overwhelmed with all of our photos that I actually stopped taking pictures for a couple years. However, after a lot of trial and error, I’ve come up with a photo management system that works really well for us — at least for now!
Today, I’m sharing how I organize ALL our photos — and how I create our digital photo albums using a free online program.
One of my main goals for this blog is to help busy moms, dads, and families to simplify and get more organized — easier said than done, right! And while I hope SimpleOrganizedLiving.com has turned into a valuable resource for many of you seeking a simple, organized life, there are also SO many other fabulous resources available on the web… including the 5 eBooks into this week’s eBook Bundle of the Week.
We FINALLY got snow last week — and Dave got his first snow day of the year!
However, since it’s supposed to be in the 50′s again tomorrow, I figured I better share some pictures of how pretty our farmhouse looks with all this beautiful, clean, white snow!
Diapers are expensive… right? Even though my mom and I always seem to find fabulous diaper deals, the cost still adds up… especially for those of you who have multiple children in diapers!
Today, I’m partnering with BabyCenter to give away a couple packs of Pamper’s diapers (and a Target gift card!)
I’m switching things up a bit this weekend and posting my “normal” Weekend Giveaway tomorrow… because today, I’m hosting a fun Thirty-One Gifts online party!
I have a bunch of Thirty-One products and I really like how practical and functional they are. So if you’re in the market for some new bags, organizing products, or just a few gifts, come check out the special January offers!
As adults, Dave and I don’t do much to celebrate Valentine’s Day; however, as a kid, I remember getting excited about passing out Valentine’s Day cards to the kids in my class.
Today, I’m sharing two really simple DIY Valentine’s Day card ideas that you can totally do — even if you aren’t crafty — and your kids might even be able to help!
January is all about cleaning, decluttering, simplifying, and starting “fresh” for the New Year ahead.
Because of this, I’m sharing 3 guest posts I wrote this past month — all about these “fun” topics
Although I’m an advocate for “everything in moderation,” I know there are huge benefits to eating “Real Foods”. So today, I’m really excited to share my friend Katie’s new eBook: Better Than a Box.
Katie is giving away 100 copies of her eBook to the first 100 Simple Organized Living readers to claim them…plus she has a free printable Real Food substitutions chart for everyone!!
Over the past 3 months since I shared the photos of our new farmhouse sink, I’ve gotten many questions asking how to clean and protect porcelain sinks.
Today, I’m answering the top three questions I get over and over again!
Fruit salad… in a slow cooker? Yes, you read that right — and it is one of my all-time favorite fruit salad recipes!
It’s so simple and uses mostly non-perishable canned fruits, so you can always keep the ingredients on hand for a last-minute side dish.
I firmly believe that no matter how tight your budget is, there is always SOME way you can save a few cents here or an extra buck there. One way we’ve been able to save more is simply by using less.
I know that statement might sound overly obvious… but have you ever tried it? I mean REALLY tried it? Here are a few ways we save more by using less…
Today I’m sharing a really fun giveaway — Frige Coast Fridge Liners. These super absorbent fridge shelf and drawer liners come in a fabulous selection of colors and fun patters and they help to keep your fridge neat and clean.
I’ve been using them for the last couple of months and absolutely love them… so of course, I’m excited to give a few packs away!
Dave and I love our iPhones and how the many different apps help us to simplify and streamline our lives.
Today, I’m excited to share a new iPhone Storage case from eyn (Everything You Need) that has helped us streamline things even more. These cases allow you to carry “Everything You Need” inside your phone case… so simple!
All week long, I’ve been talking about goals (I guess it’s about time since we’re already halfway through January!)
On Tuesday, I shared my new Ultra Simplistic approach to 2013; then yesterday, I shared the recap of my 2012 personal goals. Today, I’m looking back on the 12 business goals I made in 2012 — and I won’t lie, the results aren’t pretty!
As you probably already know, I’ve been working from home for several years now — and although there are definitely pros AND cons to my working arrangement, I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.
That said, I’m really excited about this week’s eBook Bundle of the Week, because the books are all about successfully balancing work life with family life — which is something I struggle with daily!
Yesterday, I mentioned that my goal for 2013 is “Ultra Simplicity” in every aspect of life.
However, before I push ahead to 2013, I want to first take a few minutes to look back on how I did with my 2012 goals… and no, I didn’t accomplish them all.
Can you believe we’re already half way through January and I haven’t said a word about goals yet? And you know how much I love talking about goals!
I’ll be sharing the recap of my 2012 personal and business goals later this week, but today I’m talking about my 2013 goal of Ultra Simplicity in every aspect of life.
