Have you ever felt discontent with one area of your home, life, body, etc? If you’re human (and especially if you’re female) I’m guessing the answer is yes!
Today, I’m sharing a super simple “remedy” I use when I’m feeling less-than-content about something in my life… I’m always amazed how well it works!
It’s wedding season — which means lots of gift-giving opportunities.
If you’d like to get a little more creative this year — but still honor their registries — I have a bunch of ideas that are relatively simple to implement and can be quite frugal as well.
Although I am definitely NOT a ‘health nut’ by any standards, I have been practicing one extremely healthy habit on a daily basis for the last 15+ years of my life.
It hardly takes any extra effort on my part but it makes a MASSIVE difference in how I look and feel physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. Oh, and it’s completely FREE!
One of my college professors would always say “If you stop learning, you stop living” and I fully agree. There is so much joy and satisfaction that comes from learning and developing a new skill.
Even if you aren’t a “book nerd” (believe me, I’m not either) and don’t really love the idea of going back to school, there are still MANY ways you can be a lifelong learner.
I have another really fun giveaway today — just in time for a little Valentine’s Day treat for ourselves!
Also, if you’re a crafty person and have not heard of the inSelly Marketplace, you’ll definitely want to keep reading for more information… and of course, a chance to win free prizes 🙂
I realize we need to use caution and take proper steps to protect and secure our online information (especially when it comes to our children), but overall, I personally feel that the Internet is an amazing tool that has helped me to improve, simplify, and better my life.
I (literally) can’t imagine life without it — and today, I’m sharing 5 reasons why!
This time of year, I always rekindle my friendship with my box of baking soda. Not for baking, or cleaning, or freshening — although those are all excellent uses for baking soda.
I use baking soda to soften my skin, to soothe my hands, to scrub my face, and, in general, to simplify my beauty routine!
One of my goals in life has always been to simplify (shocking, I know!) I take great pleasure in finding simpler, more organized ways to run my home, my work, and my life. It’s not always easy, but it is always worth my efforts.
Today, I’m sharing one key factor that has made my life more simplified and helped me avoid burnout. You might just say it’s my “Top Tip For Simple Living”!
I’ve been striving to live simply and to be more organized for as long as I can remember and I’ve been blogging about it for 4 years now.
However, it just recently occurred to me that although “living simply” is an extremely popular topic in today’s society, my real life simple choices are not always equally as popular.
Last week, two different people emailed me asking for advice on clutter-free gifts for kids.
So, in honor of the fact that today marks 100 days until Christmas (yes, you read that right!), and the fact that I’m a huge advocate for completing at least some holiday shopping nice and early, I’m sharing a few of my favorite clutter-free gifts for kids.
After countless hours of purging, and shopping, and trying on clothes, and buying, and ordering, and taking pictures, and writing, and editing, I am ecstatic to FINALLY be able to share this post with you…
My new super comfy, super cute, super low maintenance, mix ‘n match wardrobe!!!!!!
I’ve never really enjoyed going shopping; however, I also never discovered the amazing world of online shopping until a few years ago. In fact, I never purchased anything online (even from Craigslist) until after we were married!
Over the past 3 or 4 years, I’ve almost entirely switched to online shopping, and I cannot believe how much it has helped me to simplify my life.
Over the past few summers, I’ve taken some sort of blogging break to rest, relax, and to take full advantage of Dave’s glorious summer break.
This summer, it works best for our schedule to go with a 2-week break, starting right… NOW!
About a month ago, a blog reader emailed me asking for time management tips as she felt like she never had enough time to give 100% to everything she was doing. She admitted she had a lot on her plate, but like so many of us, she loved everything she did and didn’t want to give up any of it.
Today’s post shares my response along with my own thoughts on giving 100%.
What’s your “one thing” — you know, the thing you love doing so much that you’ll almost always make time for it even when you’re super busy and stressed?
Today I’m sharing my “one thing”… any guesses as to what it might be? 🙂
Here are a few of my favorite things for the Month of March. I was hoping to have “a new baby” on my list… but we’ll just wait patiently for my due date — tomorrow!!
I know many of you love eBooks — and so do I. You can read as much as you want with NO book clutter — and at a fraction of the expense.
So today, I’m excited to share the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle with you. It includes 86 eBooks, a free 12-week online conference and 9 freebie bonuses. The entire package is valued at over $1000 but it’s on sale THIS WEEK ONLY for $29.97.
As many of you probably realized by now, I took the entire month of August off from blogging — not because I was burnt out or feeling totally overwhelmed — but simply because I could.
We accomplished a lot AND we relaxed a lot over the past couple of months — and today, I’m sharing a bunch of the things we did while I was away.
