A couple weeks ago, I attended the Evernote Conference in San Francisco, CA — mainly to be there when Evernote unveiled their brand new partnership with Post-it Brand.

That’s right, the wildly popular Evernote App has partnered with the Post-it Brand we all love — and today, my goal is to share exactly how this awesome partnership works and how it can help all of us to simplify and organize our lives on a daily basis.

My Trip to the Evernote Conference

I’m super excited to share that my 2-day blogging trip to San Francisco for the Evernote Conference super awesome, AND that Nora handled it MUCH MUCH better than any of us expected.

While it wasn’t exactly “restful,” it was re-energizing and relaxing to have a change of pace and to think my own thoughts all day. Also, chatting with grown-ups and eating food while it was still hot were nice bonuses too.

I’m always on the look-out for FREE tools to help improve my business. So when I got the iPhone, I immediately started searching for apps that would do just that.

Apparently there are a ton of free productivity apps, but I didn’t need or want them all, just the best ones. So for the past several weeks, I’ve been testing them out… and I came up with a list of 9 of my favorite free apps for small businesses.

Organizing My Business Taxes with

About a month ago, I shared the REALLY simple way I organize all our tax documents. I still use that method for both our personal tax documents AND for my business tax documents… and so far I don’t have any reason to change or alter this system.

However, I’ve also been using for the past two years and I’m thrilled with how easy it is to use. I can’t believe how much it has helped me to organize all my business tax information!

Dave and I recently renewed our 2-year cell phone contracts… and we both got iPhones! Yes, it was totally against our ultra-frugal nature, but I have to say, the iPhone has completely saved any shred of productivity I had left after Nora arrived!

Now, 2 months later, I would honestly say that these iPhones are one of our best purchases. I can’t believe we lived without them for so long!

At times, I feel like my planner serves as my […]
