posted by Andrea | 03/29/2017 | 53 comments

I’ve always been a huge fan of food gifts — both giving and receiving! However, over the past few years, I’ve had so many situations where the family I want to give a food gift to has food sensitivities or food allergies.

Because of this, I came up with 2 or 3 simple go-to meals I could make when people have some of the more common food sensitivities. I’m sharing the recipes today — and I’d love a few more ideas to add to my list!

There are so many times when we (myself included) have our own agendas for giving — we want to give what WE want to give, whether it is useful or needed or appreciated by the recipient.

Dear Well-Meaning Relatives: Please respect our request of fewer gifts for our kids.

Since I get SO many emails from overwhelmed parents asking, “how can we ask our well-meaning relatives to PLEASE stop giving our kids so much stuff?” I thought I’d write up a response in the form of a letter.

This post is intended to be humorous, so I certainly hope it doesn’t come off as offensive, rude, or disrespectful — and it is in NO WAY directed towards Dave or my relatives. 🙂
