There are few things I love more than the smell of bread baking in my oven… even if that bread came from a can in the refrigerated section of my grocery store!

The recipe I’m sharing today is OH SO simple, and will turn a can of biscuits or rolls into a fabulously delicious side dish, worthy of even your pickiest eaters…

Thanksgiving is Thursday… and since we’ll be celebrating at my aunt and uncle’s house, I decided to make our own little family Thanksgiving last week (especially since we spent last Thanksgiving in the hospital!)

Today, I’m sharing a bunch of our REALLY simple Thanksgiving menu favorites!

Several weeks ago, I shared a bunch of tips to get organized BEFORE the holiday season; however if you’re like most people {including myself} — you probably got busy or procrastinated and are now frantically shopping for last-minute gifts, making food for all your holiday parties, getting your holiday cards in the mail, and clearing the clutter from your home!

As many of us enjoy a day off from our regular routine, good food, and great company; and as Dave and I bring Nora home from the hospital, I want to leave you with a post I wrote last year at this time… just because I think it is SO fitting for today. I hope you find at least one opportunity to give thanks this week.

It’s Thanksgiving week — which means my mouth is already starting to water for the huge Thanksgiving dinner we’ll be having on Thursday afternoon. I’m bringing a delicious sweet potato casserole to our gathering at Dave’s parent’s house; but since I’m in love with all things “pumpkin”, I just couldn’t resist making one more pumpkin dessert!

As I set out to prepare for the upcoming festivities, one thing I almost always do is declutter my home to make room for all the extra “stuff” that seems to accompany this time of year!
