Today is Dave’s birthday (he’s 31 — which is much older than me!) so in honor his birthday, I’m sharing one of HIS favorite organizing tools.

First of all, I do know that I’m extremely lucky to have a very clean, neat, and organized husband. And even though I take some of the credit for helping him to be more organized… I will also admit that he’s been neat and organized from the day I met him.

He’s actually so organized that he makes his own planner every year to use for school, coaching, and all his many other activities (looks like we are both quite particular about our planners!)

This summer, as he was preparing to head back to school, I got a package in the mail with a few Duo 7-Pocket Accordion File Binders.  I was immediately intrigued by the binders because they were essentially two organizing tools in one compact unit.

I showed Dave (who was equally impressed) and the next thing I knew, he had “stolen” the Duo binders from my side of the desk and proceeded to fill them with his homemade planner, school papers, student council information, coaching plans, etc.

    I think it would be great for organizing a scrapbook project with design ideas kept in the binder and photos and embellishments in the pockets. It would make it easy to take to a friend’s house or on vacation that way.

    I am a teacher, and I can think of lots of ways to use this! great for “teacher”stuff- faculty meeting binder, a place to organize my NHS club paperwork, for leadership meetings, and to keep record of professional learning community papers! Please pick me!

    I think this would be useful for storing warranty information–receipts, instruction manuals, and any warranty documentation. Everything neatly in one place where I could actually find it when I needed it. Thanks for your generous give aways!

    I’d use the DUO to organize my finances (bills, receipts, etc) to make sure everything is paid on time and to make sure nothing is lost or misplaced.

    I would love one of these! I would organize either our finances and all those docs. OR use it for the ministries that I am involved in- Teens and Hispanics! Or maybe even my blog. I seem to be accumulating a pile of papers that all relate to my blog and they end up in a drawer…not organized!

    The better question is- what wouldn’t I use this for? I think I need (at least) 5! If I HAD to choose just one thing, it would probably be my homekeeping binder though.

    I would use it to try to organize my home (as in budget, to do lists, things to fix/purchase), my family time (who needs to be where when, plans for family get togethers), and many aspects of each of my outside of the home jobs (schedules for each worker, plans/activities for each day, paper work to complete).
    Ahhhhh, perhaps I need more than one??? That means I would especially love to win one so that I could afford to purchase another for me and one for each of my college age children!
