UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
If you just read the title of this post, you might be wondering what a “Life Locker” is… right?
My Life Locker is the ultimate organizational system.
Think of it as your own personal filing cabinet: one tidy spot to keep your entire life’s information.
My Life Locker covers your whole life, not just one area — everything from your family,to your home, your finances, your internet user ID’s, your passwords, and more!
My Life Locker is a place for you to record your details, print the pages that apply to you, and keep your hard copy somewhere safe — or use the digitally encrypted copy on your computer for easy reference.
My Life Locker is organized into four sections, each one a SECURE place for essential information.
- Locker #1: Me and My Family
- Locker #2: My Important Things
- Locker #3: My Valuable Money
- Locker #4: My Everything Else
Within each locker is a series of categories and specially designed, easy-to-use forms to record specific information.
My Life Locker covers practically every possible category, but if you need a specific category, it’s very easy to customize and modify if necessary.
If you live in Canada, you can buy the digital or print version of My Life Locker. Everyone else can purchase the digital copy of My Life Locker… and then use this helpful information to set-up and organize all your information.

Important info used to be stored in my Blackberry and now each of us has a flashdrive I use – one succinct place would be peace of mind for sure!

It’s here and there–some in a lock box, some in an accordion folder and some in a pile looking for a home 🙂

Wonderful “Worldwide ” Giveaway Andrea, Thanks! 😉
How do I organize important information? Hmm…I have a planner which takes care of appointments and telephone numbers etc. I’m one of the Organizationally Challenged and have to say that all other important papers, documents and warranties are stored in a drawer in our bedroom. Could be better!

I have files in my filing cabinet and a couple notebooks. My system could definitely be improved upon!
Cathleen says
my important info is ALL OVER (its a disaster)
I never really had a plan, but I am taking baby steps to de-clutter and organize,
several of your suggestions have been helpful, the photos of your desk and all the tidy wires were very inspirational, and I used it at work (step 2 home!)
I also managed to declutter under the bathroom sink by using your home made shower cleaner with vinegar/dish soap – it works like a charm and I was able to get rid of all the other bottles of product I had
Thanks for all your suggestions! you have an avid reader here!

Oh my gosh I am currently going a organizational change over, my “IMPORTANT STUFF” is everywhere!!!! I am slowly taking 1 step at a time to de-clutter my home, my cars, my life and my family’s life…There is just an overwhelming amount of “STUFF” just everywhere in stead of the places they need to be..This would be perfect because it would be a place that I could organize my files in there proper places and ahhhh that would be 1 task down and 1 step towards the beginning of a new clutter free life…
Thank you for your site and all your much needed tips and advice
Olivia

I keep our important papers such as birth certificates, etc. in a folder. I don’t really have a single place I keep everything else. But I am trying to organize my home and get everything in some kind of order. I realize the clutter has been stealing my peace at home. Any organizational tools to help me would be great.

I currently have a personalized organizer with calendars and lists in it. I have a daily to do list and week ahead glance page that I put in page protectors and use a vis a vis marker daily/weekly. I also use a write-on, wipe-off calendar for the family.
Beth says
I use a small portable filing bin with hanging files. There are labels for each category, including health, school, taxes, car insurance, and other important documents. It just barely fits all of my current documents, so I’m going to have to upgrade to a two drawer filing cabinet in the near future (especially with all of the paperwork we have from the buying our first home).
