UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
If you just read the title of this post, you might be wondering what a “Life Locker” is… right?
My Life Locker is the ultimate organizational system.
Think of it as your own personal filing cabinet: one tidy spot to keep your entire life’s information.
My Life Locker covers your whole life, not just one area — everything from your family,to your home, your finances, your internet user ID’s, your passwords, and more!
My Life Locker is a place for you to record your details, print the pages that apply to you, and keep your hard copy somewhere safe — or use the digitally encrypted copy on your computer for easy reference.
My Life Locker is organized into four sections, each one a SECURE place for essential information.
- Locker #1: Me and My Family
- Locker #2: My Important Things
- Locker #3: My Valuable Money
- Locker #4: My Everything Else
Within each locker is a series of categories and specially designed, easy-to-use forms to record specific information.
My Life Locker covers practically every possible category, but if you need a specific category, it’s very easy to customize and modify if necessary.
If you live in Canada, you can buy the digital or print version of My Life Locker. Everyone else can purchase the digital copy of My Life Locker… and then use this helpful information to set-up and organize all your information.

I have stuff in the filing cabinet – but nothing all pulled together like this. What a great product! Thanks!

I have tried to be very diligent about organizing the important things in my life, however, after looking at your product, I realize I still have a long way to go. I just have file folders with information broken down by category. A will, and some financial papers concludes my items. You have made me realize that I need to shore up what I have. Thanks

My life is in my file cabinet and on my computer (backed up of course).
Lee Stello, LPN says
I have a little appointment book and I staple doctors appointment cards to the day of the appointment. This I keep in a fanny pack along with my ID and wallet. I have a 12 pocket accordion file for larger papers than fit in the appointment book. I carry everything in a cheap tote bag from Goodwill, which also has my hand lotion and nail file (I have terrible nails).
I keep a grocery list on the fridge with a magnet, and only sometimes shop at the store without it and the coupons, also under the magnet. My husband Steve and I have a safe, and the Bank CD forms are in there (but I sometimes transpose the combination numbers and I MUST NOT write them down somewhere). My checkbook goes in the Left hand desk drawer, along with a pen, stamps, envelopes and calculator.
I keep a running Health History and Med Log for Steve and I, his widowed mom, and my parents on the computer. Whenever someone needs info, I print off a fresh copy for their records. The docs LOVE it, especially in the ER (our folks are all 80+).
I’ve got photos in boxes, and a few old albums. The High School diplomas are somewhere. My LPN license is on-line and a hardcopy is in the safe. I think the Marriage License is, too, but where are the insurance papers and title to the cars? Does our lawyer have the title to the house? Where’s my Will and Health Care Proxy? Steve hasn’t got either one, so the good news is, THEY aren’t lost. Does my mom have my Birth Certtificate, oh, dear, she’s less organized than I am.

I currently store all my various bits of information on pieces of paper. It works for me but not everyone else. So to have it all digitally and able to access it safely and have it available to anyone else who might need it would be fab.
My only question is that I’m in the UK so would it still work?
Laura says
I currently use three different binders, each with subcategories and dividers and clear page protectors for the important documents. I have everything sorted by type but it is hard to manage as more and more things get added–it is cumbersome and hard to keep up-to-date! A Life Locker system would be wonderful!

I just recently found your website and I’m working bit by bit to become more organized. I’ve got your budget workbook on my desktop and can’t begin to tell you how much I love it! Now if I could only get all of my important documents all in one place that would be great – and this product sounds like it would help!

I have one folder for important documents and basically don’t organize the rest. I NEED to win!!!

currently I have everything everywhere. I do want to get organized but I don’t know where to start! I have bought so many things to help me but nothing has worked. ( or maybe its just too much work lol) Shoeboxes, totes, pretty boxes are overflowing and everywhere . And I have liked you on Facebook!
Beth says
Our important information is scattered in multiple places. Some on an external hard-drive, some in a filing box, some in a fire safe, etc. Would be ideal to have one organized consistent place to go to for everything important!
Melissa Q says
I have liked you on FB! (well, for quite a while now…)
Melissa Q says
I currently organize it by trying to have digital copies of most of the good stuff and then keeping it in a computer file. Trouble is, our backup system isn’t all that great, and I can’t tell which has the latest version of what information. Not so great, but better than it has been, but not as fabulous as it could be with Life Locker!
Erin says
Not as often as I should!
melyssa says
I followed you on fb!
Becky says
I already follow you on FB

Most of the important info is in a filing cabinet but there are some things that are scattered around. Organization is not my stong point so one place for all would be great
jill says
I would definately love this system!! Currently everything is in a folder on top of the fridge! Yikes! Help me o’ Organized One.

Currently I am using a modern, “multi-source” system to organize important information…
A combination of emails, notes on my smart phone, an overstuffed filing cabinet, some sticky notes on my computer monitor, a magnetic clip on the fridge and a “house binder” I started by stuffing the front pocket with papers….I think it may be time to try something new!
Lucrezia says
I do not have a current system for keeping info all together. Would love yours

I currently have a few spreadsheets with information written on them that I keep in a binder. This system would be much more organized and complete. Love this idea

I currently have all important info in one filing cabinet, but this would be a great tool to use!
Thanks!!!

Oh, anything to do with organizing takes my fancy and especially if it’s printed and in a cute folder….would be awesome to win. Kathy (Australia)

I keep everything in a very large double file cabinet. I know where everything is, but my husband doesn’t even venture near the file cabinet without his “tour guide” (me !)
Nuria says
I love it!
Megan Camp says
I store most of our papers in our filing cabinet and give myself password hints in my contact list in my email box. I don’t list the actual passwords, just hints so I can figure it out if I’ve forgotten it.
b says
Currently use our filing cabinet with many folders.

Hi. I organize spacially haphazardly. This weekend I am working down to see the top of my desk. pulling off papers (important ones!!) from 2009! I can’t believe it has been three years since I sat at my desk. I am hopeless but still well intentioned….. today i re-used all the mineral water cartons i have been saving up, to plant seeds of herbs for my garden. what does that have to do with organizatioin? well, i have been saving up those cartons, instead of throwing them away and today i put them to use. In the meantime my personal papers, house papers, family papers are piling up, how to put them to use!! Help me! I did the “like you” on facebook too! What is the secret!!!
