I would use it for ornaments. I have only been on my own for 5 years so I have been slowly collecting my ornaments. I have been storing them in the origial boxes they came in. There will be a day when they no longer work so this would be perfect especially as I just got married this year and we have a couple 1st Christmas ornaments that we would love to keep. I would use it for Christmas ornaments.. When I married my husband I inherited all of his decorations from when he grew up. His mother bought him a new one each year. When I married in I got one along with his every year.. Now that we have kids we get a bunch a year.. It getting out of hand. I have them now in shoe boxes wrapped in tissue.. These boxes would really be helpful since this year I had to go looking for more shoe boxes cause we ran out of room in the old ones..
