Weekend Giveaway: Energizer Flameless Candles

Even though it’s not officially Fall just yet, I’m already excited about the cooler weather, colorful leaves, candy corn, pumpkin bars, soups, apple cider… and Nora’s first birthday.

But as I mentioned earlier this week, I’m planning to keep things super simple this year… no fancy decorations, no over-the-top menu plans, no “fluff”. Just a wreath on our front door (if we ever get our new front door ordered!) and a few festive candles.

However, if you’ve ever been around a 9 month old baby who is already walking… you know that traditional candles with an open flame might not be the best idea.

I had already thought through this dilemma and figured I would resort to scented plugins… until Nora discovered those too, and easily grabbed them and stuck them in her mouth!

The plugins are now unplugged and put away… maybe next year 🙂

Anyway, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out a new line of flameless wax candles from Energizer. Not only do these candles look and feel just like traditional wax candles, they also smell like real candles too!

My problem was solved.

I now have a variety of fall scented flameless candles scattered around our house. They look lovely, smell delicious, won’t burn down my house or poison my baby, and (since they operate on a timer) I don’t even need to remember to “blow them out”.

Talk about a simple decorating solution!

    Cinnamon is my all time favorite fall scent. I love it year round, especially when paired with vanilla, but it just smells like Christmas to me!

    I love cinnamon- not just for fall but all the time! As a mom with littles, the only candles I’ve lit in the last 5 years were b-day candles. I’d love to try these out.

    I love the smell of pumpkin spice, which is what my kitchen smells like during Fall! I get on a “pumpkin kick” and make everything pumpkin.

    My all time favorite is the clean linen scents. For fall I love the smell of pumpkin, and cranberry, and apple and cinnamon! I also love, love, love fall colors!

    My favorite fall smell is the smell of outside, with burning leaves and cool air and pinecones…it reminds me of football games and soccer practice!

    Another favorite fall scent here in New England would be the smell of wood smoke from fireplaces and woodstove. A real sign of fall.

    My favorite scent is the fresh clean fall air when the leaves are falling… But that one cannot be put into a candle! So I’ll say anything with some sort of spice in it.

    Favorite fall scent: tough one…I love the smell of fall in general!!! But, apple probably ranks up there at the top. There are so many different apple smells 🙂

    I love the smell of pumpkin spice. It reminds me of pumpkin bread, muffins, etc. Yet it doesn’t add inches to my waistline. 🙂

    I love the scents of pumpkin and apple cider. As a Michigan girl who is now back in the Midwest after living in the desert for a few years, I’m so happy to be apple to visit the orchards! (I already follow you on fb, too!)

    I love fall and would love to use more candles, however, with two toddlers, they either like to blow them out or try to get to them, so I can’t have them around. Having these candles would be wonderful.

    My favorite Fall scent is pumpkin. These candles would be great on my mantle and are even safe for my coffee table, as long as I don’t mind Zoe attempting to chew on them. I’m sure you can relate, as it looks like Nora liked them! Take care, Nicole
