Weekend Giveaway: Energizer Flameless Candles

Even though it’s not officially Fall just yet, I’m already excited about the cooler weather, colorful leaves, candy corn, pumpkin bars, soups, apple cider… and Nora’s first birthday.

But as I mentioned earlier this week, I’m planning to keep things super simple this year… no fancy decorations, no over-the-top menu plans, no “fluff”. Just a wreath on our front door (if we ever get our new front door ordered!) and a few festive candles.

However, if you’ve ever been around a 9 month old baby who is already walking… you know that traditional candles with an open flame might not be the best idea.

I had already thought through this dilemma and figured I would resort to scented plugins… until Nora discovered those too, and easily grabbed them and stuck them in her mouth!

The plugins are now unplugged and put away… maybe next year 🙂

Anyway, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out a new line of flameless wax candles from Energizer. Not only do these candles look and feel just like traditional wax candles, they also smell like real candles too!

My problem was solved.

I now have a variety of fall scented flameless candles scattered around our house. They look lovely, smell delicious, won’t burn down my house or poison my baby, and (since they operate on a timer) I don’t even need to remember to “blow them out”.

Talk about a simple decorating solution!

    I love a pumpkin pie smell. As we transition to Thanksgiving I add cloves and cinnamon. Then at Christmas I add pine, peppermint, etc.

    I just love the holidays!

    My fall scent I luv is Cinnamon Spice….the only thing I have filling my home in the fall.

    Those candles are such a great idea–especially the timer! My favorite scent is cinnamon, then vanilla. I had a baby (many years ago) that didn’t sleep much, especially at night. (ended up I was anemic, and since I was breastfeeding, he wasn’t getting what he needed) I still remember the bone tiredness, so I hope you are able to train her to sleep better–it takes work and turning a blind ear to the fussing for a couple of nights which is really hard.
