UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
As I’ve mentioned several times before, I absolutely LOVE the Unger brand cleaning products. I honestly think they have a product for anything you’d ever need to clean inside and outside your home.
However, since I’ve been pretty focused on cleaning my new kitchen lately, (and since I’m assuming you all have a kitchen to clean!) I thought it was only fitting to offer a giveaway specifically for kitchen cleaning.
Today’s giveaway features two of my favorite Unger products.
- The Washable Microfiber Kitchen Sponges
- The Ultimate Chefs Towel
I’ve been using these washable Microfiber Kitchen Sponges for a while now, and I absolutely love them. We use them in the bathroom, in the kitchen, on windows, and even outside.
They are just a little thicker than a microfiber cloth but offer lots of scrubbing power. They mold to your hand, easily get into small corners and crevasses, and dry really quickly!
The 4-pack of sponges includes:
- 2 Blue: All-purpose cleaning
- 1 Silver/White: Scrubbing & wiping
- 1 Yellow/Gray: Windows & stainless steal
My other favorite Unger product, the Ultimate Chef Towel, is actually a brand new product — but I’ve had the privilege of testing it out for the past month.
It’s fabulous!
It’s like a microfiber cloth on steroids 🙂
- It’s big (16″ x 16″)
- It’s super absorbent
- It’s really soft
- It can clean pretty much any surface in your kitchen WITHOUT chemicals
- It can even be used on warm surfaces (like a glass top stove)
- It has a loop that you can use to hook it onto your cabinet knob or towel hook
- It comes in a bunch of fabulous colors
Oh yeah, and the Chef Towels are now available at Bed Bath & Beyond — so you can throw in a couple with your next wedding gift or bridal shower purchase!

ooo i love the microfiber sponges! what a great idea! i hate cleaning the floor. we need to do it multiple times a day because of our cats (we keep the kitty food bowls in the kitchen on the floor cuz its easier to clean than the carpet if water and food mix on the floor). but the area is so small, and my vac then steam doesnt really make the job any easier ๐ so it goes without being done most days

Inside the oven, for sure. It’s just one of those areas I find really difficult & frustrating to get – and keep – clean.

I dislike cleaning my gas stovetop, would much prefer a flat cooktop as far as cleaning is concerned (although the gas is nice to cook with).
Jenny says
I hate cleaning the stove, any part of it! ๐
Robin says
My least favorite thing to clean is the stove top and the oven. Yuck! Stove top isn’t too bad, but I have always hated to do the oven and really dislike oven cleaners. Baking soda paste works OK for the bottom, but hard for the sides. Always put off for another day. ๐

I very much dislike cleaning behind the stove, under the fridge and near the exhaust hood. I LOVE using reusable, green cloths for cleaning that I can simply put in the washer and use again and again. I would LOVE these cloths.
