UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to: Sally (ssosler@…)
Look for an email from me soon!
Remember a few weeks ago when I shared several pictures of my fantastic t-shirt quilt?
Well, I loved it SO much that I asked Jane from Maide Jane Designs if she would be willing to do a t-shirt quilt giveaway here on SimpleOrganizedLiving.com.
Lucky for you, Jane graciously agreed!
And since Jane is super creative, she figured that with Father’s Day right around the corner, we should giveaway one of her fabulous 9-Block Daddy Quilt Kits!
These quilt kits include everything you need (besides the t-shirts) to make your own t-shirt quilt.
You can use your kit to make a quilt out of daddy’s favorite sports t-shirts…
Or, you can even make it out of extra button-up shirts (which I think looks so cool!)
If you’re looking for the perfect Father’s Day gift this year, a custom Daddy quilt might just be “it”!
Of course, Jane is available to make all sorts of custom quilts and other creations… but if you’d like to try your hand at making your OWN quilt, her quilt kits are the way to go. She maps out every step of the process and provides all the tools and instructions you need.
You can see more creative daddy quilt ideas here, but then make sure to come back and enter the giveaway below!

My husband was an avid softball player and has tons of softball shirts. Would love to make him a quilt of his “old softball’ memories that he and his son could share and one day pass on to him . What a wonderful memory of dad that would be.

I’m undecided as to how I’d use the kit – – either to make a quilt for my husband or to make a Mario quilt for my sons with all the tees they’ve outgrown, but won’t part with.
Thanks for the chance!

I would love to make one of these for my husband. He has so many t-shirts that he doesn’t want to get rid of, and this would be a perfect way to clean out the closet AND save the shirts!

I have been saving up t-shirts for the last 10 years for this very project! My husband just cannot part with his beloved t-shirts, and I’ve been wanting to do a quilt for him for years. We had a little boy a year and a half ago, who loves to cuddle with his daddy, and a t-shirt quilt would come in handy for all that cuddling! It would be a great Father’s Day keepsake for year’s to come!
PS – I like you on BOTH Facebook and Pinterest! ๐

I would use my husbands closet full of tshirts (the only thing he wears) to make the quilt then sit in front of the fireplace under it and finally get to relax.

I would give it to my husband so he could snuggle up in the winter when he’s studying. Love it!

I would put the Daddy quilt on my son’s bed when he got older. He is already his daddy’s mini me.

I would make the quilt using some of the old shirts I have of my dad’s. Then keep it for myself – it’d be like snuggling under dad-hugs.

I love your site! I found you on pinterest while looking for organizing tips, but also noticed your Calvin t-shirts. My sisters, myself, and their husbands all went there. Small world!
Regarding the quilt: My dad had to go on disability a few years back and retire from his position as a minister (at the same church for 35 years!) due to physical issues stemming from childhood polio. He now spends his time working on projects around the house, babysitting his grandkids, and napping. ๐ He always has a quilt or space heater over his lap in the afternoons or evenings. I would love to give him this quilt made with a t-shirt from his kids and his four grandsons to keep him company during the day. Thanks for the fun giveaway!

My husband works for the boy scouts and we have a tub full of camp shirts that he loves and wants to keep. I would make a quilt with all of these camp shirts for him.

These are so neat! I’d LOVE to make one since my hubby has all sorts of old t-shirts he still loves, but aren’t really in condition to wear. Only problem (or two) is…..I don’t have a sewing machine and I really don’t know how to sew! :/ This would be great for Father’s Day!

I would love to be able to give my dad a quilt! Especially with the tshirts that we have from all the serve projects we went on together while I was in High School. Mission trips were something special my dad and I were able to do together and they have given us great memories to share.
