I LOVE holiday cards!

I love receiving cards, I love sending cards, and I really love coming up with a new idea for our holiday cards each year.

Last year, we sent a New Year’s card with Nora’s birth announcement on the back.

The year before, we sent a photo card with our new address.

    My family does a group pic of the 4 humans, 5 dogs and 1 cat. It usually ends up looking chaotic but realistic 🙂

    We finally got married this year {after 9 years & two children together} & it was a surprise to everyone, so we definitely want to send out a card of our wedding day picts… Especially since we have only ever sent out pictures of the kiddos on our holiday cards.

    We usually do a photo of our child from our vacation during fall break. Sadly, I always know the photo, but wait until the lines at Walmart or Walgreens are too long and one year I got the cards out and they were probably received on Christmas Eve. My mother is the opposite. She writes her letter in the fall and they are all prepared and addressed before Thanksgiving. She sends them out on black Friday or Saturday.

    I usually always send a photo card of our family that I create in Photoshop and a newsy letter about our year. Don’t have a family picture yet…gotta work on that!

    My family lives all over the country, so Christmas cards are super important to us. I have a 10mo old, and due to distance, some of my family haven’t met our little guy. Our Christmas card will be a couple of pics of him, as well as one of us as a family!

    We send a holiday card every year and have our whole family photographed each year for it. It is really neat seeing how we have changed from year to year.

    I love sending shutterfly Christmas cards, but minted.com looks like they have awesome cards!!

    We’re actually sending some this year! I took some fun photos of the kids and plan to have fun with the christmas card this year 🙂 I’ve used Snapfish in the past but looked through Minted and LOVE their stuff.
