Happy Birthday! My favorite birthday present was the love and attention I received one year for my birthday. I had seven cakes and celebrations on the week of my birthday that year in college. How fun is that!

My most favorite and most memorable b-day gift was when my husband surprised me with a trip to Chicago! A super fun weekend of time together1

My favorite gift? Well one of my favorites was the Little House on the Prarie books series. I’ve wanted them f-o-r-e-v-e-r. My husband gave them to me for my birthday in March. It doesn’t matter that I could’ve bought them for myself a long time ago, AND that I’m old enough to have played Mrs. Olsen on the TV show. They mean much more coming from him.
Dolly says
My favorite birthday present was a doll from my grandma. It was when the Cabbage Patch dolls first came out and were priced at $80! Of course my grandma couldn’t afford that but she did have a friend make me a “Cabbage Patch Doll” and I loved it. As a matter of fact I still have it 25 years later! Even though my grandmother is no longer alive, that memory will remain with me forever ๐

I think a favorite ‘birthday’ gift (and mother’s day, Christmas, and my next wedding anniversary…) would have to be my diamond earrings. I never change out my earrings so I always wanted a really good pair. I love these! Made my year.

My favorite birthday gift. Hard choice. The thing about my birthday that stands out the most, being able to share it with the love of my life every year as we turn one year older together. He was born 5.5 hours before me. It is a lot of fun thinking of the other on your own birthday.
