    My favorite birthday gift was from my autistic son. He was never affectionate and on my birthday 2 year’s ago he let me hold him for over an hour and gave me the biggest hug!

    Happy Birthday!!

    I’m definitely a very frugal person and hardly ever splurge on myself, so my favorite birthday present was when everyone in my family pitched in for a very special gift for me last fall – a brand new pair of Fryes riding boots. It was the only thing I got and I loved them so much that I wore them every day and wore the soles down to practically nothing! They’re retired now for the summer, but they’ll be back next fall with brand new soles to march around on 🙂

    My favorite birthday gift was a getaway weekend to Eagle’s Mere, PA. It was a bed and breakfast which included a five course meal! My husband surprised me with this for my 30th birthday. I was five months pregnant at the time.

    Easy answer to this one…My favorite birthday present EVER was (and still is) my daughter, born two days before my birthday!

    (And my son, born a couple of days before Christmas was (and still is) my favorite Christmas present EVER! )

    Honestly, I can’t pick a favorite birthday present, but I can certainly tell you what my least favorite gift was: a toaster oven. given to me on my 40th birthday, when I was 7 months pregnant with my 5th child. I liked the toaster oven, but it sort of hammered out of my spirit any thoughts of ever being young, attractive, or interesting again!

    My husband is not able to surprise me very often so my favorite birthday gift was a purse I had been drooling over. Best part was that I had no idea he realized I wanted it or that he would figure out how to buy it online.

    My favorite birthday gift was (and is) ANYTHING hand-made by my children! A card or piece of artwork they make for me….it doesn’t get any better than that!! 🙂
