    My boyfriend purchased me a brand new MacBook a few years ago, completely to surprise me. I received it in the mail while he was still at work and cried so hard I fell to the ground. I called my mom and she thought someone had died I was so emotional. It’s the laptop I’m using to write this comment 🙂

    It was pretty close to my birthday when my husband told me we would go on a trip (for free even!) to a European country where I’d lived for 1 1/2 years. That was pretty amazing! 🙂 And we go in a month!

    I was given my great-grandmother’s opal pin she worn every day for my 30th Birthday, with a story written by my mother to explain the significance. She was given the pin when I was born because it is my birthstone!

    My favorite birthday gift ever was something that I thought I’d never use. It’s a foldable, reusable grocery bag! I always have it in my purse and every time I use it I get compliments on how cute it is. I’ve had it for over a year now and must’ve saved myself from using at least a hundred plastic bags. Now I try to incorporate at least one environmentally-friendly idea in the gifts I give. Love being “green”!

    My favorite b-day gift was the birthday gift my husband made me today (my 27th birthday 6-15, today!) a homemade steel flower stake for in my flower garden 🙂
