UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to Michelle (shellysmith@…) and Becky (rlf102@…)
Now that school is in FULL swing again, I’m wondering if any of your schedules are feeling overloaded?
If you’re like Dave and me (and we only have one child) you were rudely interrupted from your glorious summer break and forced back into the strict school schedule — life is rough, isn’t it 🙂
If you feel like your family’s schedule is out of control…let me take 10 minutes to introduce you to the Calendars & Chores Etsy Shop.
With a name like Calendars & Chores, I feel like the products are pretty self-explanatory — HOWEVER, the super cool thing about all of Jen Peterson’s calendars, chore charts, and to-do lists is that they are ALL magnetic and they are ALL dry/wet erase. This means no paper waste and no need to purchase refill pages or duplicate calendars every year.
.
And while all the Calendars & Chores products are fun and fabulous, the product I’m most excited to share with you today is the Large Magnetic Dry/Wet Erase Calendar.
Isn’t it pretty?
I have a feeling this calendar just might be able to help with some of your family scheduling woes… keep reading to learn more!
What makes THIS calendar different?
This calendar is so much different than other Dry Erase calendars because the weeks are separated and can easily be moved — so you can always plan 5-6 weeks ahead (and you all know how much I love planning ahead!). When the top week is over, you simply erase it, pull it up, and move it to the bottom of the calendar. You then move the other weeks up and you’re ready to plan some more.
This means you’ll never get to the end of your calendar AND you’ll never have to go out and buy another calendar!
And for those of who you live and die by the calendar on your phone, I can speak from experience that it’s still really nice to have one big family calendar in the home to keep everyone on their toes.
A few more details:
Each magnetic calendar kit comes with 6 weeks of separate strips for weekly planning. It also comes with one “days of the week” strip and all 12 months as separate magnetic strips.
Each piece is completely backed with a quality magnet.
Each calendar comes in a variety of colors and fonts.
Each calendar comes with a choice of frame color. The finished product is 27.5″ x 23.5″.
BONUS: each calendar will automatically come with a “memo” strip with the following categories: Upcoming Events, Grocery List, To Do List, Notes
So this calendar really does have EVERYTHING to help you get and stay organized (at least when it comes to your schedule!) Plus, it looks fabulous hanging on your wall!

We have a big family calendar but to save the money and trees it would be nice to have a perpetual one that can be changed. We, too, are a family of only three, but my daughter is in sports, we volunteer, and my husband and I have our own sets of activities. This would also look nice hanging in our home.
Sarah says
Being newly diagnosed with RA I would use the calendar to track my appointments, keep up with the boys (4&7) school/extra curricular activities, and my husbands work schedule. It would make it easier for the boys to keep track of what chores they needed to do for each day and help them feel as if they were helping me instead of doing “the boring work”.
heather says
This would be perfect for us. Love that you can plan beyond the month and move the weeks around. And we are huge dry erase fans =)
Crystal H says
This would be fantastic for keeping track of all my sons doctor appointments and the other kids activities!!!
susan says
I would use this in the kitchen as our family calendar to keep track of everyone’s schedule.
Becky Post says
I could certainly put this to good use, we are a family of 5. It is a chore to keep all the important dates straight!
Amy B says
I have used a regular paper calender to organize my family for 20 years! Wow, what an upgrade this would be! This home schooling mom would love one.
Christina says
I could sure use this to manage my full household. I’ve still got 10 kids at home!
Stacy says
I have my calendar online, but do not have a smart phone so I have to run upstairs to the computer to check my calendar to schedule things, etc. This calendar would help me by having our schedule where I can see it all the time!
Jenny says
I’m a teacher and a Mom of 3 school-age children. My husband and I are building a new home, and this would be a perfect way to organize ourselves to stay on top of keeping it clean and organized. Also, it would be great to look at our kids’ activities for 5-6 weeks in advance! Thanks for the opportunity to win this fabulous product!
Lynn says
I would love to use this system with our kids to get them used to planning ahead.
Maria says
Currently my husband and I have separate calendars, but our son is almost 3 and will be starting sports next year. I need to get a good Family Calender in place before he has practices and games and tournaments and banquets…
Sonja says
I love my electronic calendars, but I also find it useful to have a wall display, with my most important tasks in front of me. I’ve looked into whiteboards for my office, but most of them are so unattractive. These calendars are beautiful, and I’m sure they would be inspiring to look at.
Erin says
What a great calendar! I’m in the process of planning a new command center to put in the laundry room/mud room. I’m tired of feeling disorganized with all of the papers my son brings home from school (not just homework and graded assignments, but papers I need to sign and dates I need to remember). We have a regular paper calendar on the wall but this dry erase one would be so much more convenient since it’s erasable! Thanks for the giveaway!
Fannie says
I would use to schedule our busy life, instead of paper lists and calenders!
Rand says
My husband and I are expecting our first child in two months (yay!). I currently use a paper calendar to keep track of all homesteading duties (when to feed my sourdough starter, when to bottle the kombucha), meal planning, trips to the grocery store, dates with friends, and church responsibilities. The calendar is a bit of a mess now. I love dry-erase because it would be tidier and more aesthetically pleasing. Plus I am trying to cut down on our paper use (see: clutter/landfill) so this calendar is aaaaawesome.
Julie Russell says
My husband is a minister and I stay home with my 2 pre-school aged children so we are always running 4 different directions (like most families:). I’m currently looking for a system of assigning chores for my kids (some mandatory and some paid–we don’t do “allowance”) and this would be a great (not to mention stylish) way to assign chores and show my kids how their work incorporates into our family’s life.
Laurie says
I would love to have one to keep all of our schedules and activities posted in one pretty spot!
Laura says
This would be great to keep the rest of the family informed of our schedule!
Rebecca says
This would be an awesome help with meal planning!!
Sara J says
My husband and I just had our first baby girl 9 weeks ago, so now that we have officially started our family out daily lives seem a bit more hectic and I only see things getting a bit more crazy once I return back to work. The calendar will help us organize our schedules, doctor appointments and chore list so we can stay on top of things as well as jot any milestones the baby will have until I can get them in her miles stone book!
Chrissy says
I would love to use this calendar to help keep track of the three kids and all their activities! The memory is not what it used to be!
Patti says
My kids are getting involved in more school and church activities, so this would be great to keep us all on schedule!
Jamie says
This would be great for my 3 kids and their chores. A neat and organized place to keep all the info would hopefully make the day go smoother!!
Cricket says
I have 3 kids, one just started school, is playing soccer, and expecting life to just get busier with the other 2. I currently use a good ol’ paper calendar and would love to try something like this to cut back on paper waste. It would help my husband and I stay much more on top of things!
Kelli Bogdan says
This would help with our homeschool days and sports events and such.
Erin says
We’d use this as a planning tool for meals
Carrie says
Beautiful Calendar! It would certainly help me stay organized!
Liesel says
The removable weeks thing is perfect, and the reason I haven’t started using a white board calendar or anything like that because I can’t wait until September 30th to start writing anything on October. So smart! And it looks nice too!
Briana Smith says
My husband is starting a new job and will for the first time in 5 years not be working with me. It would be great to have one family calendar to keep our schedules straight now!
Kathy Jonkman says
This would be a PERFECT GIFT for my son and daughter in law. THey are both teachers and have two little ones. As you can image they are busy! This would be a wonderful way to keep everyone organized!
Jenny says
This would be great – my husband and I share calendars on our phones, but that doesn’t help the kids to see what we have going on since they do not have phones yet!
Susan says
I always struggle the first week of each month, right after I’ve flipped the page. This would eliminate that! LOVE!
Jen Perry says
Oh, PLEASE, please, please! Our schedule is a nightmare! Our 2 kids are involved in cheer, softball, viola, girl scouts, tech club, art classes and more. Every morning, before my husband leaves for work, I need to tell him where he needs to be and what time he needs to be there. It would be so nice if I could just put it all on a family calendar.
susana villarreal says
This calendar would be a great help for my family since we have so many activities going on after school….not to mention Dr. , Dentist appointments, and chores.
Love the fact that is magnetic and can easily move around to plan ahead. Love everything about the calendar.
Thanks for this great giveaway 🙂
Rochelle says
