UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to Michelle (shellysmith@…) and Becky (rlf102@…)
Now that school is in FULL swing again, I’m wondering if any of your schedules are feeling overloaded?
If you’re like Dave and me (and we only have one child) you were rudely interrupted from your glorious summer break and forced back into the strict school schedule — life is rough, isn’t it 🙂
If you feel like your family’s schedule is out of control…let me take 10 minutes to introduce you to the Calendars & Chores Etsy Shop.
With a name like Calendars & Chores, I feel like the products are pretty self-explanatory — HOWEVER, the super cool thing about all of Jen Peterson’s calendars, chore charts, and to-do lists is that they are ALL magnetic and they are ALL dry/wet erase. This means no paper waste and no need to purchase refill pages or duplicate calendars every year.
.
And while all the Calendars & Chores products are fun and fabulous, the product I’m most excited to share with you today is the Large Magnetic Dry/Wet Erase Calendar.
Isn’t it pretty?
I have a feeling this calendar just might be able to help with some of your family scheduling woes… keep reading to learn more!
What makes THIS calendar different?
This calendar is so much different than other Dry Erase calendars because the weeks are separated and can easily be moved — so you can always plan 5-6 weeks ahead (and you all know how much I love planning ahead!). When the top week is over, you simply erase it, pull it up, and move it to the bottom of the calendar. You then move the other weeks up and you’re ready to plan some more.
This means you’ll never get to the end of your calendar AND you’ll never have to go out and buy another calendar!
And for those of who you live and die by the calendar on your phone, I can speak from experience that it’s still really nice to have one big family calendar in the home to keep everyone on their toes.
A few more details:
Each magnetic calendar kit comes with 6 weeks of separate strips for weekly planning. It also comes with one “days of the week” strip and all 12 months as separate magnetic strips.
Each piece is completely backed with a quality magnet.
Each calendar comes in a variety of colors and fonts.
Each calendar comes with a choice of frame color. The finished product is 27.5″ x 23.5″.
BONUS: each calendar will automatically come with a “memo” strip with the following categories: Upcoming Events, Grocery List, To Do List, Notes
So this calendar really does have EVERYTHING to help you get and stay organized (at least when it comes to your schedule!) Plus, it looks fabulous hanging on your wall!

I would love this for my office! It would help me keep things organized.

This would be a wonderful addition to our family command center. We have a magnetic chore chart that we use to keep track of the kids’ chores, but I love that this can be used for the whole family, and doesn’t look “childish.”
Whitney says
I love this calendar! I have the perfect spot in our office. My husband travels out of state often and I stay home with our busy 21 month old. I’m also going back to school (online) to become a Lactation Consultant. This calendar would be a simple yet aesthetically pleasing way to display our schedules, my assignments due, my household chores and upcoming appointments.
On a side note…your blog is the first thing I read when I wake up to have a cup of coffee by myself before my busy boy wakes up.

I currently use a calendar on our frig but I can’t plan for the next month. This would be great (and a lot prettier) for planning ahead especially heading into the holiday season.
Maria says
this calender is fantastic! my mom always used a weekly paper calender with us when we were younguns. now, i’m a nanny & this would be great for my boss, who has two small kids & is trying to figure out how to start organizing their life in a more efficient way! =)

My husband and I just got married this past spring and we are having a hard time figuring out and meshing our schedules! He tutors after school and I also sell Norwex so our schedules can fluctuate from week to week. We tried the whole synced phone calendars but that hasn’t worked out.
I just want to plan to have dinner together a couple times a week! ๐
Rebecca Moody says
Could really use this to keep track of chemo and doctor’s appointments!

As a mom of 5 and a business owner, this calendar would be great. Keeping track of 3 fall sports schedules, choir, carpooling, birthday parties and school functions can sometimes be overwhelming. During basketball season, we’ll have 4 sports schedules to deal with.
This calendar would allow everyone to know what’s going on and who’s going where and when. It would be most helpful keeping track of my high schooler that goes to school 45 minutes from home, plays fall and spring sports, carpools with a friend and whose school schedule doesn’t always match up with the little’s calendar.

My husband and I are both opera singers. We constantly have to keep track of our rehearsal schedules, deadlines for a crazy amount of auditions, competitions, and training program applications, and not to mention coordinating our day-job schedules and other appointments as well. And we don’t even have children yet! If I feel this calendar could be of use NOW, I can only imagine how it would be helpful when we have little feet running around. We each have our own paper calendars right now, but it would be nice to have something that was shared and posted for ease of visibility.
Amanda says
I have been looking for something like this for about 2 months now!!1 It would help both my husband and I keep up with what is going on.
Anna says
I love that this is paperless (no waste) yet not digital. And the moveable weeks are a great idea! I would hang this in our kitchen.
Sheila says
Three children! Enough said! ๐

i am chalkboard painting an annoying blank cabinet side in my kitchen that faces the dining area. I have plans to make it the place for the family calendar, but don’t have a family calendar yet- this one is awesome…it would fit perfect in the space!
Katie says
I would love to have this in my kitchen for all of my kids to add their activities. And to see the upcoming events.
I love that you can move the weeks up and down. Maybe I can be a little more organized and find some simplicity instead of running from one thing to another like my head is chopped off. Lol ๏

As a prayer calendar on my fridge, next to all the pix of those we pray for long term, as well as it would replace my desk blotter calendar that takes up so much room on the fridge. Would keep track of daily commitments as well! What a great idea!
Christina says
This would be great to keep track of 3 kids with jobs, sports and school activities, not to mention life!
Bonnie says
This would be great! I use a little notebook to jot notes and dates down, but then I often don’t go back and look at them or can’t find where I wrote something specific. Plus, this looks awesome ๐
Michelle says
A husband who’s teaching / going to school and me a full-time accountant….we are constantly missing each other and this calendar would make it so handy! we’ve tried google calendar in the past but sometimes when you are at home you just don’t want to check the computer. i love the way you can move it too without having to erase everything. “crossing fingers!”
Margarita says
I would get an overview of when my family is where! My husband travels a lot and that always messes up my kids schedule!
Renee says
This calendar would be great to keep the whole family informed of all the happenings, displayed for each of us to see.
Michelle says
I have the most perfect spot in my kitchen for this. With 5 of us…two adults, two teens, and a preschooler, we seem to have stuff going on every day of the week, but we don’t really have any place that has it all fully organized in one place…it is mostly just notes stuck on the refrigerator as reminders.
Debbie says
I do morning and after school care. Which means I have carpool twice a day, I have 5 children that all come on different days and those days change from week to week. I also will take neighbor kids last minute.I have been using a blank printed calendar that looks chaotic and psychotic! LOL! I would hang this on the back of my front door, which would really cut down on any future mistakes. NOT that that has happened, LOL!
Michelle says
This is just what I need! I am forever “misplacing” my planner. Something like this to hang on my wall for all of us to see and use would greatly help! Thank you so much for this giveaway!
Christine says
I would love this! I would put this in the kitchen or living room and use it to organize our busy schedules. With two young kids and a host of church activities, we can use all the help we can get!
Monica H. says
Great timing! I just got back from a run when I saw this post. On my run I was imagining using a calendar where the whole family could log in the miles they walked or ran on a particular day. We would color code each person and have a family weekly goal. I’m trying to encourage the whole family to be active and this would be perfect.
Leanne says
This is would look better on my kitchen wall than the plain white dry erase calendar that I currently use. This would be great to keep my family of 5 in sync.
kate says
i have a personal calendar but definitely keep one posted on the wall to help me and my husband posted on what’s planned so there’s no suprises. this way he can make plans without double booking us. It gives some freedom to our schedules knowing what’s already set. AND there’s no saying “i didn’t know we were going to do this or that”.
Nicole says
I would LOVE this ! Running two businesses, 4 kids under 8… life is chaos right now. This would look beautiful in our family center, and help me keep all of the scouts, sports, etc. all straight. And the bonus.. my hubby can’t say he didn’t know about it anymore !
Savanah says
This could help me plan our family activities each week.
Rachael says
My husband just started a new job. I’m job hunting/staying at home with my 16 month old and spending a lot of time taking care of my elderly grandparents. I would love to have a place to keep everyone’s schedules straight so my husband and I aren’t constantly texting each other to figure out where the other is. Did I mention we share one car?
Lisa says
I would use this to organize what household tasks need to be completed. I lost my to-do lists so often.
Reva Eichhorn says
I would use it in my kitchen to keep everything organized on the farm!
Johanna Liggett says
This calendar is amazing! I like the style and all the color options. I currently use my paper calendar to keep track of bills, birthdays, my kids sports, my husbands sports, school assignments……etc.! I also have a to do list and a grocery list on the fridge. It would be so nice to have all those items in one place and be able to erase as I go instead of crossing things out and making an ugly mess of my calendar.
kerry says
I have anxiety, OCD, and depression. Combine that with a naturally forgetful brain, and I never remember to look at my calendar online, or even to buy a new one! This will really help keep me on track and ensure that my husband and I make all of our appointments.
AshleyB says
This would be a beautiful way to keep up on all the commitments I make on a weekly basis! Thanks for the giveaway ๐
Chris Brown says
My husband doesn’t do we’ll with organizing or notifying me of phone calls or events. This system is open and uncluttered enough to let him check for info and to write done important info for the future. Simple and clean-he could do it!
Kat says
My husband and I work opposite shifts for half the week plus he has music gigs. This calendar would make it easier for us to connect with such opposing schedules.
Stephanie says
I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and I’m going through treatment now. I’m a full-time student, wife and mom of 2 very active girls. With all my doctor appointments and our otherwise busy schedule, this would be just what we need in our lives right now. I’ve never seen a calendar like this! And I LOVE, LOVE that in comes in a frame so its pretty hanging on the wall, too.
susan Boice says
