Christmas Day has come and gone; and if you’re like me, you’ll be taking down your Christmas tree and packing up all your fun holiday ornaments with in the next week or so. It’s a sad day…but it has to be done.
For me, this day involves putting my ornaments in a big cardboard box and hoping they don’t break as I try to shove them all in! However this year, I have a brand new, super organized way to store all my Christmas ornaments — want to know what it is?
Well, have you heard of Ultimate Christmas Storage?
It’s a company that specializes in high-quality storage boxes like these gorgeous red boxes.
And these super cute blue polka-dot storage boxes!
And, as their name suggests, they have tons of great “Christmas Storage” products for ornaments and other small items that can easily be lost or broken.
All of their products are extremely high quality, durable, and SO much prettier then my cardboard boxes — so I’m using these boxes for my ornaments this year!
The Ultimate Christmas Storage products feature:
- Acid Free heavy-duty chipboard throughout.
- Tarnish inhibitor added to help reduce the atmospheric effect on silvered and metal ornaments.
- Ornament boxes and Ornament chests provide removable trays from 3 to 5 inches deep.
- Trays have fully adjustable dividers to accommodate a variety of collectibles.
- Beautiful fabric covering adds years of durability to acid free ornament boxes.
- Decorative fabrics allow ornament boxes to be used as a decorative accessory.
- Our fabric variety allows for easy segregation and identification of your collectibles.
- Clear heavy-duty vinyl zippered bag protects the archival ornament boxes while stored.
OK, so these sound really fancy, and they technically are…
BUT they are also practical, stackable, transportable, storable, movable, and really pretty. Plus, if you’re planning to move, these boxes are very convenient {yes, I speak from experience!}
I’m sure you can imagine how excited I am to replace my cardboard boxes with these pretty boxes that provide tons of storage for small, delicate items and assure that everything stays neat, organized, and unharmed.
Well, I’m also excited that Ultimate Christmas Storage is giving away a beautiful green ornament storage box to one lucky Simple Organized Living reader!! {see below for details}

I use cupcake gift boxes. They go on clearance every year after christmas and are great for ornaments. Each box usually holds twelve ornaments. They keep everything from breaking. Liked on facebook.

I store my Christmas ornaments in a tote. I have made a large portion of my Christmas ornaments. I wrap the ones I have painted in tissues with lotion because reg tissue sticks. I put them into a box and put in in the tote. My bead and wire ones I wrap amd put into the tote. They seem to get tangled alot though. I have some that I keep in the orginal boxes. My glass ones get wrapped and put into tote. I ahve lost some of them over the years. Hoping to get hints from the news letter. Shared you with my friends on facebook. Hope you had an Awesome Christmas. Thanks for all your tips about all the different areas.

We have used plastic totes for all of our decorations & ornament storage. It takes me a very long time to individually wrap each of our more delicate items and I would really enjoy having a more efficient, better quality system such as the Ultimate Storage boxes. Additionally, we are a military family that moves ALOT and I am hoping to be able to have some keepsake ornaments to pass on to further generations. Hopefully with these boxes I can do this more easily. Thank you.

My current method is horrible. Random cardboard boxes left over from moving. They’re all different sizes (mostly small) and I have a hard time keeping track of them. I need help.

I currently have our Christmas ornaments wrapped in tissue paper, then placed in a clear, rectangular Rubbermaid container. Thanks for the opportunity to upgrade : )

I currently use ziplock bags (for lights, garland, and non-ball ornaments), plastic box thingies for the ornaments (they’re the balls that look like glass but aren’t – a must with two under 4 in the house!) All of those go in old cardboard boxes that I think contained Christmas presents at one time.

Current method? Small cardboard boxes inside one ginormous cardboard box. Thanks for hosting this generous giveaway!

My current method of storage is wrapping up some of the ornaments in the packing paper and placing them in a cardboard storage/moving type of box. Some of the ornaments go back into the box that they were purchase in and that box also goes into the cardboard storage/moving type of box. I have been thinking about purchasing plastic storage bins to replace the cardboard storage/moving type of box, but this idea also sounds nice too.

Currently I store my ornaments in a plastic tote that can go in the attic. Unfortunately I don’t have an attic so I actually store more ornaments at my parent’s house and bring them out every Christmas so that I can decorate.

Rubbermaid-type containers…

I’m in the midst of organizing my Christmas decor storage after moving a few months ago. I sorted out a few different kinds of ornaments–jingle bells, angels, berry clusters–into piles, then stuffed them into large velvety Christmas stockings in plastic bins.

I keep my boys’ yearly ornaments in their own Rubbermaid bins, and all of our vintage family ornaments in another Rubbermaid bin with a cardboard divider. My system could use a face lift ๐
