It’s the last week of May — which means school is ALMOST finished and summer break is ALMOST here.
And that means you will be in charge of entertaining, occupying, and cleaning up after your children every. single. day. for the rest of the summer!
You can do it!
I have a bunch of really fun posts coming up over the next few weeks — talking about fun {and free} summer activities, how to get your kids involved in organizing, etc. etc.
However, right now, I would like to challenge you to think about any organizing projects you have on your to-do list right now.
Will you be able to complete those projects with your kids at home?
Do you need to finish them before school is out?
Are there toys and clothes that your kids don’t use and you can get rid of before they notice?
Do you need to toss out old craft supplies and stock up on new ones?
Does your yearly family vacation still need to be mapped out and planned?
Are you still trying to pull together a last-minute garage sale?
Should you stock up on library books and educational DVD’s?
Do you need to sign them up for summer camp, swimming lessons, sports camp, or summer classes?
Can you take time now to stock up on extra snacks and freeze a few extra meals?
Is there something you just HAVE to finish before the madness of summer vacation begins?
If so, put those things on your Top Five list for the next week and try to complete them A.S.A.P.
