Christmas is just 100 days away — I can’t wait!
It’s THAT time of year…well sort of. Christmas is officially 100 days away which means the holiday season is right around the corner. Are you excited?
I know some of you are like me; already making plans and finding great deals for the up-coming holiday season. Right?
The rest of you probably think I’m nuts for planning so far ahead!
But I can’t help it; I just love the holiday season! I love decorating my house, baking lots of delicious foods, and shopping for great gifts.

My purse and diaper bag are the same…so…there’s a lot in there!!!
Kid stuff: extra outfit for my daughter, three diapers for my daughter and two for my son, one diaper cover, pacifier, cloth wipes and spray, two burp cloths and one sticker that says “superSTAR!”
Personal stuff: Notebook and pen, some papers including pay stubs and kid’s social security cards, pack of tissues, wallet, lotion, lip balm and gloss, reusable bag, two more pens, highlighter, planner, two sets of keys, and a water bottle.
Misc wha? stuff: one grape, various wrappers, half a magazine.

Oh my purse is so sad right now. I have a 4 year old a 22 month old and a 6 week old so i have diapers and wipes, crumbs from snacks and random doll shoes. I also have a few breast pads for random leaking moments. Oh the joys of motherhood. Somewhere in there is a wallet but i don’t have time to shop so it doesn’t get used on much besides groceries. 🙂 My birthday is coming up and my hubby is giving me a day off to go and play with some girlfriends.I am guessing some shopping is in my future…..

My purse is usually the diaper bag and always has wipes, diapers, and crackers of some kind. Sometimes it has my wallet, but sometimes I just put my id and credit card in my back pocket so I don’t carry the bulky wallet. I’m anxiously awaiting the day I don’t have to carry diapers and wipes anymore!

My husband is always complaining about my overflowing purse. I argue that I am well-prepared for any occasion. It includes: a comb, my wallet (cash, credit cards, notes to self), a change purse (all my change doesn’t fit in my wallet), an extra wallet (loyalty cards and gift cards), a checkbook, numerous writing utensils, a make-up bag (make-up + tweezers, nail clippers, nail file, and bobby pins), pack of Kleenex, a ziplock bag full of coupons, receipts, a circa notebook, lip gloss (in addition to what’s in the make-up bag), keys, cell phone, headphones, water bottle, and usually a pacifier and burp cloth. Occasionally I also throw in a toy and diaper + wipes. Wow. That is a lot of stuff!

In my purse (aka: Pack horse bag): my Wallet (containing change, various receipts and the important credit cards/id/punch cards, coupons, cpr certifications, fishing license), a small wallet (containing all the collected punch cards/membership cards/gift cards that will not fit in my wallet), about 8 different chap sticks and lip glosses, feminine products, some eye drops, an umbrella, sun glasses, a label maker, a receipt for a pumpkin spice latte, old grocery list, copy of my resume, hand cream, two packets of gum (different flavors), date book, a couple band aides, tanning goggles, cough drops, oil absorbing sheets, anti-itch cream, and several pens. I’ve pretty much given up carrying a purse and I am down to a clutch wallet. It holds my license, credit cards, insurance cards, cash, and coupons. I have been looking for one of these little wallets to hang on my key lanyard. Now I’m crossing my fingers. =)

Hmm..my purse holds everything, including crumbs. I carry all the receipts from shopping trips gone by. My wallet, pens, paper, calendar, books (depending on what I am reading or which one I am making copies of, we homeschool). scrap paper with people’s numbers, whom I forget to call, business cards, cash, change, wrappers..and this is all a couple of days after “cleaning it out”. 2 sets of keys, one with all my key chain cards..ex..library card, cvs card, book store cards..etc

I would love to win because my old wallet is sadly falling apart and this would be so streamlined! In my Brighton purse, I have the following treasures: brighton wallet, make up bag with too much makeup for one person to use in one day, breath mints, cute notepad for ideas, cute little thing to hang my purse on a table while dining (and hope the table doesn’t fall over!), beautiful and soft hankerchief, wet ones in individual packets (they look more adult that the diaper bag variety), gum, bag full of pens and whatnots for writing, and my iPhone. Okay so I am always loosing my keys, so this would be great to keep them with my wallet. I also like it because I can throw it in the diaper bag when needed (which is most of the time).

I’m not carrying a purse right now. I’m actually using a my son’s diaper bag. I have my little pouch with my cards and cash in it. Well right now my “purse” is a diaper bag and I hate a cluttered diaper bag, so it’s organized pretty much everytime we leave the house 🙂 Here’s a list of “my stuff” in there: wallet, keys, lip gloss, gum, allergy medicine, a means of protection (yes, it’s legal! :), random giftcards, and bandaids.

Andrea – You would be disappointed to know what’s in my bag (or luggage really). My wallet is actually in decent shape. Just last week I went through and took out the cards I don’t use – ever. (I should confess I just tucked these away in another drawer because I didn’t know what to do with them). My bag includes my file folders for our HSA account (we just opened one and I’m trying to figure out exactly how it all works still). A notebook that I use to collect miscellaneous thoughts, goals, sketches, lists and notes. My calendar book. A small collection of coupons and two small purses (yes two small purses inside my bigger purse) one with receipts and gift cards the other I don’t even know! My phone, wallet, tampons, pens, lip gloss, hair bands, nail polish, camera, sunglasses. Every month or so I purge and somehow it becomes my briefcase where I keep things I might need, or need to do, or need to file. If I don’t suffer from stress just trying to find something in my bag, I’ll pay for it later in chiropractor bills (PS I’ve never been to a chiropractor before).
