As many of you know, I’m a pretty big fan of cleaning and organizing!
Yes, I love the end results of a clean and organized space, but I also enjoy the whole cleaning and organizing process. I know, I’m a sick woman!
So I’m sure you can imagine how excited I was when my brand new, shiny blue, Hoover MAX Multi-Cyclonic vacuum arrived on our front porch a few months ago! Yup, super excited!
Isn’t it pretty!
And with all the construction projects going on around our house, I think we’ve used the Hoover nearly every single day! We have definitely put it to the test — and it passed with flying colors!
Some of MY Favorite Features:
Honestly, I haven’t found anything I dislike about my Hoover MAX Multi-Cyclonic, but there are a few specific things I want to point out — because they are just THAT cool.
1. Super Wide Base: the 15″ wide rotating bristles clean a huge area in just one swipe — saving me lots of time!
2. Auto Cord Rewind: Yup, all you have to do is press that little button with your foot and the cord winds up in a few seconds!
3. Height Adjusting Dial: We have so many different heights of carpet in our house — plus lots of different hard flooring {tile, wood, laminate, etc} and the Hoover MAX works for all of them because of this handy height adjusting dial!
4. Large Canister: I’ve actually never had a bagless vacuum before so the fact that all I need to do is push one button to empty out all the dirt, dust, and grim is simply wonderful!
5. A Rinsable Filter: All you have to do is take out, rinse it under water, and it’s clean! So easy.
6. Hard Floor “Lever”: I was thrilled to see this lever — which basically stops the bristles from turning and only “sucks” the dirt and dust off the floors. It is perfect for our gorgeous new hardwood floors!
Oh, and I should also mention that I absolutely love, Love, LOVE the fact that all the attachments are connected to the vacuum and super quick to take off and on. Plus, the hose extends 18 feet without loss of suction so it’s perfect for our large staircase.
Without a doubt, this is the BEST all-purpose vacuum I’ve ever used. Even Dave was excited about our new “toy” and he’s been vacuuming more often too {thank-you Hoover!!}

I’d love to have one of these Hoovers. I’m currently using an old Electrolux and it’s “okay” but having three animals in the house, two of which shed like crazy, it would be sooo nice to have a machine that seriously gets up all the hair AND doesn’t need bags. I also LOVE the Auto Cord Rewind and the rinsable filter.
Thanks!

Oops, correction: I currently own an old EUREKA.

I would love this vacuum! We have not had a hoover and I hear they are great! It would help with the messes the smallest of our family members leave around the house!
polly says

We would love a new vacuum! With a toddler on the loose our home is in constant need of cleaning and our current vacuum leaves behind dirt and residue. We are getting ready to put our house up for sale and this would be a huge help to the process.
Kat says
This would be perfect for us! My son is in college and needs a vacuum cleaner. His last one didn’t make it through the year.
Lara says
This would be perfect for me because I don’t have a vacuum cleaner!!!
Juliet says
I would love a new vacuum because mine is 10 years old!!
Jody says
Ah!!!! A new vacuum would make my day:)
I need a new βpick me upβ.
Thanks for having this contest. Have a GREAT day!!!!

Something that looks as good as this Hoover would get lots of oohs and aaahs at my house. My college junior daughter could have my old vacuum and I could have this new one! Brilliant!!
Thanks to all for a fabulous give-away!
Tricia says
Oh what a beautiful vaccum!!!! Thats why I want to win…. cause it’s a beautiful new toy for mom….
Kim says
I would love this Hoover. We have two golden retrievers that are in our house. You can imagine the dog hair. I vacuum once to twice a day when they’re shedding. This looks like it would work awesome!!
Jen @ BigBinder says
I think the picture of the woman on the stairs sold me! I love the long hose and the attachments. We have a Miele and it’s hard to get even bags for it, I’d love a more ‘normal’, American brand of vacuum!
Cathy W says
The 18 foot hose sound like something I could really use, I only have about a 3-4 foot one now which is pretty much useless! So I’m hoping to win one of these awesome Hoover Vacs.
Alissia says
So my vacuum is At LEAST 6 years old and an update is seriously overdue!! I would love to win this!! Thanks!!
Cheryl says
I would love a hoover! The 18 foot hose would be perfect for all our stairs. The one I have now weighs a ton!!
On a separate note, I know how busy you are, but I really miss your posts on Farmhouse Love. It is fun to watch all your projects come together π

I have had my current vacuum 5 years. I’m looking for a different brand. This Hoover sounds like what I’m looking for! I would love to win it!!
Echo Dannelle says
Oh good gravy, I need this!! I have a vacuum, and it sucks (well, it does!), and not how it’s supposed to. It came from a store that I won’t name, but it starts with a W and ends with al-mart. It was on sale, and it got chosen basically because it was what I could afford at the time. When you have a 2 year-old who thinks it’s funny to use Cheerio’s as confetti and likes the sound of ripping paper, “what you can afford” doesn’t work for very long. Since my honey and I got together 3 years ago, we’ve gone through 2 vacuums. They just can’t put up with us.

I am the mother of 5 beautiful children; four long haired girls and 1 boy who thinks it’s his job to litter the carpet and hardwood floors at our house with crumbs of every kind. Not that the girls don’t make messes with all their crafty paper projects and tissues from the latest nail polish adventure, but the one boy holds his own against his four sisters. My vacuum is actually the one I got for my wedding 16 years ago, and in the old days it only cost $45. I often covet my mother’s bagless vaccuum when I’m at her place doing housework, and if I won this fantastic vaccuum I could spend less time breaking one of the 10 commandments and more time vaccuuming.
Sincerely,
busymomof5

I love the blue color of this vacuum! All the features sound wonderful. I would love to have one.
Faith @ Artistic31Mama says
I would love to have a new Hoover sweeper. Right now I have a Bissell Healthy Home vacuum which has seen better days with four kids, a dog, and a cat. It’s about four years old but already I’ve had to duct tape the hose back together in a couple places from it tearing and my kids recently knocked it over onto our stairs causing the handle to break off. With a little duct tape and an extra long screw I managed to “rebuild” the handle and get it working again. lol This Hoover sweeper seems to have all the great features I love about my sweeper plus more (I don’t have the auto cord rewind!)
Cindy says
I have a Bissell that is very heavy to carry up and down steps. The piece that holds it upright broke off so it always falls backwards. I don’t know how many times it has fallen and hit me in the back when I am cleaning the stairs. I would love to win a new vacuum.
Janelle says
I would LOVE to win this vacuum! Our current one is way past its prime and not really working the greatest! This would be a wonderful new gadget to have! π I loved all of the attachments!
Carmen says
I would love this Hoover because I hate sweeping and would rather vacuum our hardwood and tile floors. Plus our current vacuum not only uses bags, but it’s HEAVY!
Kristin says
My current vacuum is on its last leg and I have a 2-year-old and 100 lb. dog to clean up after!
Kendra Burns says
I would LOVE to win this Hoover – we have actually been looking for a new Hoover over the last two weeks after moving into our brand new home. This would take a little financial pressure off us to win one for free π Moving isn’t cheap!
Thanks,
Kendra
Jill says
We currently have a Hoover, and I have really loved it. It is very old though (we got it for free from someone who didn’t need it anymore). With a growing family, it sure would be nice to have a brand new vacuum that can really suck up all the dirt, food crumbs, grass, sand, etc etc etc.
Love your blog, Andrea!
Jeannette says
Because our dogs are shedding, our baby is crawling now, and our old vacuum just isn’t doing the job!
Kim says
Because I vacuum every.single.night.
Lola Daddino says
I am a proud owner of two Saint Bernards, Champ and Charlene… 3 cats, Big Mama, Toki & Moses…We live on a five acre chicken ranch..where the vaccuming is never done! Between the dog hair, cat hair and all the dirt and dust…The Hoover seems much easier to manoover than my current vaccum.. Id Love to put it to the test. Lola from Clovis California.
Crystal Ruegge says
I love that the hose extends so far but still has good suction – that would definitley help on our 2 sets of stairs! And a washable filter would be really nice!
Janis says
My vacuum is pretty old so this Hoover would be great to win. It has great features, especially the long extension hose and rinsable filter. The retractable cord is a nice feature too. When I was a kid, my Mom’s vacuum had that feature and I always thought it was a great idea (and as a kid, it was fun to play with).
I love anything that makes my life easier and this new vacuum would definitely do that!
Robin says
Wow! Looks like quite the machine. It would do all we need to keep our house looking good.
Might even have fun doing the housework with this new vacuum!
Erin says
I have been on the search for a new vacuum. One that works on different floor types and is easy enough for my kids to run. Plus I need the attachments and love the re-usable filter feature. I would love to win the Hoover!
Renee Meyers says
Well…a Hoover would be nice since my current vaccuum is held together with duct tape and will not suck the dog hair off the couch. My Eureka has been good but it’s time to put it to rest. I’ve been looking at new vacuums, but have found there is a big difference amongst them so I’ve had a hard time making a decision. Thanks for providing the information about this one!
Sarah Quinlan says
I would love this!!! I came across your site a few days ago and am now seriously hooked! We are so much alike! I am now as the organizer and cleaner in my area π This vacuum cleaner would save my life! I always buy the cheapest one but it ends up breaking soon after π I vacuum daily…. Is this not normal? So PLEASE PLEASE pick me!!!
Debbie Welchert says
After 28 years of using my Hoover, it’s slowly falling apart. I would love to have another Hoover vacuum and I can only hope that it last another 28 years.
Matthew says
I’d like to own a Hoover Max because I’ve been reading about it online and the reviews, including yours, are positive. It sounds like a great vacuum that would help in keeping dirt and dust out of the house. We have both hard floors and rugs so the hard floor feature is just the thing!
Lauren says
I fear our pup has killed our existing vacuum, so I’d love a Hoover to help replace it. The features you highlight are perfect for getting around tight nooks and washable filter is really exciting!
Julie says
I already own an older version of Hoover and really love it. I would love to have that cyclonic feature. I have 2 German Shepherds and vacuum every day….
Thanks!!
Fiona says
Years ago we had what I thought was a really good Hoover….
It was the first of its kind – bagless and was a real dustbuster, keeping wall-to-wall carpeting pristine.
Now, a couple of decades later, I’m “Domestic Engineer” in my own home, on a different continent, where there’s more than our fair share of dust. I’ve a vacuum, (not a Hoover), and our family includes 3 long-haired girls and a long-haired Persian cat.
Our present vacuum finds our domestic situation rather challenging, and I am hoping to change to one of the 21st century cyclonic vacuums. This new Multi Cyclonic Hoover would be right up our street (or stairs)…
I would really love to win this Hoover Andrea!
