Take a moment and think about everything in your home that requires a battery and/or a charger.
You can probably list 10 items in as many seconds… right!
And since you all know how much I hate clutter {especially cord clutter} I’m always on the look out for space-saving, cord-organizing products that serve more than one purpose.
I recently came across Energizer’s new Universal USB chargers and knew I had to offer them as a giveaway because they are everything I just mentioned above… and more!
Not only are they super compact and portable, they have a flexible “pouch” that stores the cord, they are compatible with multiple devices, and they offer the ability to charge those devices from a wall, a car, and even a computer!
Take your pick.
I love that there is one set of chargers with a micro USB cable (see left image below) and one set of chargers with an Apple certified dock connector (see right image below).
The wall chargers offers a light that turns off when the item is fully charge, and the plug folds up for even easier storage.
The car chargers offer a FindMe light so you can easily see where to plug your device in… even in a dark car. Yes, they truly have thought of everything!
Dave and I each have a car charger in our car, and even though we each already have a wall charger for our phones, Dave uses the Energizer wall charger at school… so we never have to worry about being without a charger. Ever!
When we travel, we only take the Energizer USB Car Charger because it works with both of our phones and we can use it in the car or plug the USB end directly into our computer.
Talk about simple and organized 🙂

Today, two lucky readers will win an Energizer Universal USB wall charger OR USB car charger with either the micro USB end of the Apple dock end.

The mess is anywhere something is plugged in to charge. We try to do it all in one place so we don’t lose those little e-devices, but Oh, the cord craziness!

I also like your lovely site on Facebook.

I get frustrated trying to keep track of which cord is for which product. I was just thinking that I needed one of these chargers for my Kindle!
Sharyl says
Liked on Facebook! My pet peeve is….I have two cats and if I don’t keep the cords up or tied they will think they are string and start pulling or worse attempting to bite them. I am always watching cord clutter.
Thanks for all your great shares! Happy Friday ! Sharyl

It always seems like they go missing! If I hide one someone always finds it and moves it on me!

I’m already a followering on facebook! (I hope I win! My sis won the martha stewart giveaway! fingers crossed for family luck!)
Catherine R. says
My biggest frustration is that unless you label them, you don’t know what they are do and if you accidently unplug one to plug in something else it could be the one for your desktop or for your internet, you just never know! I wish we didn’t have to have so many cables! They need to get some wifi kind of technology going on so we can charge our phones without a cable!

Cord! Tangle, tripping hazzard, messy looking, dust collector, safety hazzard for kids and pets!

Even with all of our cords tucked into toilet paper tubes, that cabinet is a MESS!
Cindy says
Cord clutter – where do I start? I can find one end but finding the other takes untangling all the other cell phone, I pad, Itouch, and kindle cords to find the other end.
jahree says
I try not to look at the mess!!!
Taffee Teeter says
I hate the dust that accumulates on the cords. It’s so disgusting to move the cords when they are dusty and dirty like that.
muriel says
I struggle with remembering which cord belongs to what. We have a lot of animated halloween decorations with various cords.
Ann says
I just saw an idea to use the little plastic square closures that sometimes come on bread bags. Put one on each cord and us a permanent marker to label what the cord is for. I haven’t tried it yet.
flybabymom says
Besides the clutter? I hate having to move them when I vacuum!
Danielle says
What i don’t like about cords is their soooo messy. And really, there is hardly any way to make them look pretty in the home. ๐
Monica says
Trying to find the needed cord when we are needing it is the part I hate. I also hate the mess I have because of the cords.
susan g says
I’ve tackled many cord messes in our house, and it seems once I have a spot nicely organized, concealed, AND usable, my husband often makes a mess of my attempt. Otherwise, it’s my one-year-old showing me which areas need attention; he likes to pull on and play with cords.
Barbara says
I can’t stand all the messy cords.

I hate how you need to wrap up a cord if you want them to look less messy, but then if you need to use it, you have to keep doing it over and over! Having a built in cord “container” would make things so much easier!

Kiana says
This is a cool giveaway! I don’t like the fact that there is a cord for EVERYTHING and if you aren’t using it at the time, it lays around and creates clutter or you have to put it up so little kids don’t try to take off with it.
