UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to: Lisa (patiencejoy07@…)
Last year at this time, I was hugely pregnant, I had already past 2 of my 3 due dates (my third due date was November 18th), and I was ready to be done. I was super excited to meet our baby girl, but also super nervous as I really had no idea what to expect (which was probably a good thing!)
I’ve learned a lot over the past year… and even though I have no desire to relive this year over again, I can attest to what every other parent proclaims — time really does fly!
I think Nora is about 7 hours old in this picture — if only she still slept that much!
So in honor of Nora’s first birthday {and my first year as a mom}, I want to offer one of my all-time favorite “mom things” for this week’s giveaway — the GlamourMom Nursing Top.
Over the last year, I’ve tried a variety of nursing tops, but I’ve always come back to my GlamourMom Tops because they are just SO much more comfortable and durable than anything else out there — and believe me, I’ve worn and washed them daily for an entire year, so I speak from experience!
Not only are they more supportive and form-fitting {in a good/comfortable way} than any other top out there, they are also nice and long so I never have to worry about my stomach hanging out 🙂
If you are expecting a baby, know anyone who is {or will be} nursing, or even if you’d just like a fabulous gift to donate to a local women’s shelter, you MUST enter today’s giveaway!
The Giveaway:
Today, one lucky Simple Organized Living reader will win a Glamour Mom Nursing Bra Long Top — in the color of your choice!
How to Enter:
1. {required} Leave a comment. What is your favorite product for new moms or new babies?

My daughter just turned 6 months old, and though she’s past this stage now (thankfully!), the baby swing was definitely my favorite initially. It was the only way I could keep her asleep for a few hours. Yes, we even used it at night, though I never would have thought I’d do it before she was born!

It remains to be seen what will be my fave with this little girl due in April, but for my son I really loved my Babee Tenda feeding table!! This old school style thing was a way for me to sit my little boy up in it at eye level with me while I sat on the couch…with toys around him on the table. Since it has wheels and fits through doorways I could actually wheel him from room to room…talking to him and entertaining him a bit as I went through the house straightening it. Once he was old enough to eat solids, we could wheel him up to the table with us as well. Then when he was big enough to sit up in a regular chair at the table with us, I put the solid top on it, set the legs to the lowest setting, and pulled out a kid sized chair…and then he had his own “desk” in our office where he could sit and work on puzzles or color while my husband paid bills and I cut out coupons. Very useful and versatile!!

I am thinking though that my fave this go round will be a sit and stand stroller!! ๐

I’ll find out next May what my favorite baby products are, but the one I’m looking forward to buying most is a runnings stroller.

The best thing for a new mom is home cooked meals and frozen cookie dough. We didn’t cook or shop for a month. It was glorious!

My favorite thing for my twins was the swings, it was a lifesaver.
But six years later and this new little boy loves the snugli.

I just had my second and my favorite thing this time around is my Moby wrap. Sometimes it’s the only way I can get dinner ready for my toddler and soothe the new one ๐ It has kept me sane…in fact, she’s in it right now ๐

I love our noisemaker. It’s a liitle sheep that attaches to the crib. With two other children in the house it’s been a lifesaver with our cranky 6 week old ;).

My favorite baby item was my Medela pump. I work away from home so it was important to me to provide my baby breast milk when I went back to work. This pump made it easy and fast. They grow up too fast!
