UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Since our laundry room is teeny-tiny — and since we don’t have a clothesline set up outside {yet}, I’ve been looking for a good, space-saving option to hang clothes inside.
I recently stumbled across The New Clothesline Company and was immediately drawn to the sleek and space-saving design of their products… and I just loved the bright colors!
LOFTi
With over 22 linear feet of hanging space, LOFTi easily handles a large load of laundry. Constructed from anodized aluminum tubes, LOFTi features two built-in receivers to accommodate a complete DUO small garment dryer {see below}. LOFTi is easily raised and lowered from its advanced pulley system.
DUO
DUO is perfect for smaller spaces or as a “partner” to LOFTi. DUO features 16 durable hanging clips and easily folds for storage or travel. DUO can also break down into separate components that can attach onto the ends of LOFTi, making the pair an ultimate clothes-drying system.
And seriously — wouldn’t these help to brighten up your laundry room!
In addition to being environmentally friendly, this new ‘spin’ on drying could help you save up to $20.00 on your monthly energy bill; and of course we all know that air-drying extends the life of our clothes!
You can find tons more information about both of these products over at The New Clothesline Company — but then make sure you come back here and enter to win one below!

I generally use my dryer except with dress clothes. I hang them in our shower and let them dry. We have allergies so I don’t usually line dry outside. I would love to try these. Thanks for hosting.

I dry most of my clothes in the dryer, but would love to put up a line outside sometime or use these handy devices!

I use the dryer, but would love one of these for my camper. I could easily hang it in the shower for swimsuits.

I WISH I could line dry. There’s been a recent uproar with my HOA about clotheslines being visible from the street. The way our lawn is shaped means we can’t have a clothesline at all.
The rule is new this summer, and I’m confident it will be changed… but it will take some time. For now, we use the dryer.

I hang big heavy things outside like bathroom rugs, comforters etc to dry. Everything else except delicates (which I hang inside) get dried in dryer. Luckily I live in Southern California so I have more months I hang items outside.

Hi Andrea, my laundry area is located in my garage (odd, i know. And may I add rather cold in winter.). I have a shower curtain hung in the opening of the laundry area to hang clothes. In addition i have those white wire shelves on wall behind washer and dryer. Not only does it work for storing detergents and such but because they are not solid shelves, i use clothespins to hang such things as socks, bras, undies and winter gear ( hats and mittens). In the summer i can open up garage and have the fresh air come in.

I use a dryer – the HOA would probably take exception to a clothesline, but I remember them fondly…

I’ve waiting 2 years for my husband to put up a clothesline outside. i would be happy with a cord between 2 trees but he has some other idea that he wants to make “that will be much better and easier to use on our deck” I would to use one of these cool systems!!!

We use the dryer. We have no yard, so a clothesline is out!
Melissa says
I use two rather large drying racks – but these would definitely save space and add some color to the clothes drying process.

I almost exclusively line dry (both inside and outside) with a wooden rack. I would love the LOFTi though because I wouldn’t have to continually be putting my rack up and down and moving it around the outside, etc. What a great idea, they have!

Love to line dry when possible, but use dryer when weather does not allow for that.

What awesome drying systems! What a great way to go green! In the summer I love to hang clothes on the clothesline that my awesome hubby put up for me (gotta love cloth diapers on the line) but wintertime here in Michigan (as you know) hanging clothes outside isn’t possible. I have a makeshift clothesline in my laundry room (tacky but functional) which I use a lot but mostly I end up having to use my dryer (my least favorite method of clothes drying).

We do a combination of dryer and line drying. Dryer for jeans and heavy items and indoor clothes lines for everything else.

I usually use my dryer but with no line outside this would be great. Thanks for the giveaway.

I hang dry our clothes indoors on a rack during the winter months. It is great because it adds much needed humidity when it is really dry. In the summer months we hang everything outdoors to dry. Nothing like the smell of outdoors on clothes – so fresh and clean. Our ultimate goal is to stop using the clothes dryer completely.
Between putting a water heater timer on our water heater, minimal use of our dryer, and switching to a 1.5 gallon shower head we have decreased our kwh per month usage by 400-500 kwh per month!

It depends on the season… in the warmer spring and all though until cooler fall, we use some clotheslines on our front porch. Otherwise, it’s dryer time. Hadn’t ever thought about hanging up clothes inside, actually…
Amber B says
We toss most of our clothes in the dryer, but we hang our delicates, and cloth diapers (BumGenius pockets) over the shower curtain rod.
