UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to Catherine: catherineh_78@… I will email you today to get your shipping information!
As many of you know, Dave and I live in a 120 year old farmhouse — which means many of the rooms are lacking in electrical outlets {I’m sure those of you with older homes can relate!} And even though we did install a bunch of extra outlets in the rooms we renovated, we still have several places where it would be nice to have a light, or at least an outlet to plug a light in.
I tried different forms of battery powered lights, but unfortunately, I was really disappointed with every one of them and they seemed to go through batteries like crazy.
But then I found Mr. Beams Lighting…
Mr. Beam provides a variety of top-quality LED wireless lighting options for almost anywhere in and around your home. Their lighting is motion-censored so you never have to worry about turning them on or wasting the batteries by forgetting to turn them off. However the lights are activated by darkness, so they will ONLY come on if it is dark enough and there is motion — talk about smart!! And if that wasn’t convenient enough, these lights require virtually no installation — just stick them or hang them {with a screw or nail} wherever you need extra light!
Here are just a few of the great uses for the Mr. Beams wireless, motion-censored lighting.
As you can see, Mr. Beams lights come in handy for many places in and around your home.
We have several of these lights around our home — in various closets, by the back door, in the long hallway upstairs, and outside our master bathroom {for all the times I have to get up in the middle of the night!} They have been such an assets to our home and I just love that they require no electrical work or installation. Just stick them up and your done!
The Giveaway:
Since my two favorite Mr. Beams products are the Stick Anywhere Night Lights and the Anywhere Ceiling Light, this giveaway will include 3 night lights and one ceiling light {and $80 value!}
Enter to Win:
Simply leave a comment listing at least one place in your home, office, garage, etc. where you could use a Mr. Beams light.

Please read my full disclosure policy and contact me with any questions you might have. I received a complimentary selection of Mr. Beams Products for review, however all opinions are my own!

I’d use them on the stairway, especially for those night trips down to let the dogs out. Also the hallway going to the garage. I have a Solatube which lights it up nicely during the day, but at night a hands free light would help when I have a load of whatever in my arms.

Our basement bathroom!
Ashley Bradford says
I could definitely use one in our master closet…it is pretty dark, so matching clothes can be tricky sometimes!
Mikki says
We too live in an old house. Our house is almost over 100 years old and none of the closets have lights in them or around them. I would LOVE to put some in our tiny closets so my hubby doesn’t have to turn the major bedroom lights on when he gets up in the morning.
These lights sound great!
Janis says
I could sure use one of these in the little “room” in basement where the hot water tank and furnace are. There is a light in there, but the switch is not right by the door, so you have to go in and feel for the switch. One of these lights would be so convenient!
Zolane says
For sure my hallway linen closet! I have to use a flashlight to find ANYTHING, no matter what time of day it is ๐
Kathryn Littler-Fuller says
I have to use a flashlight to see in the back of my closet so I could use Mr Beams help:)
Sharon says
Wow! The question is where can’t I use one! Certainly every closet in my house for starters! Also, under my kitchen cabinets.
Megan Camp says
Our entryway downstairs could definitely use an automatic light. When you come in through the garage it is pitch black and the closest light switch is down the hall. I’d love to try these lights out!!
Jody says
Safety First in on our staircase!!! Thanks for giving me the chance to enter!!!!!!

Where would I not use these? Lol… we also have an older house and such a pain to install lighting fixtures. Would use them pretty much in every room…. kitchen above sink, outside above door, garage, bathroom, bedrooms, closets……ESPECIALLY OUR TINY HALL CLOSET that has NO light and hard to see in the evening!
Simply leave a comment listing at least one place in your home, office, garage, etc. where you could use a Mr. Beam light.
Michelle says
I could use these in many places…..every closet in our home and definately in the hallway ๐
AnneG says
I need light in my pantry. And if I won the kit I would also add light to our deck steps.
Josie says
I could definitely use these! What a great product! I would start in our bathroom for our 3 year old to have a nightlight for his middle-of-the-night bathroom runs. He hates turning on the “big” lights and we can’t use a plug-in nightlight because the outlets are connected to the lights! This would solve all our problems! Thanks for the giveaway! Hope you have a great weekend.

Two words: Dark, Scary Basement. Oh, no – I guess that was three words – whoops!

I would put one in the closet and send one to my son for his dorm closet. Thanks for the chance!

I would use these Mr. Beam lights in the bathroom as well as my cosets and hall. What a great product!
ElaineDavis says
A stairwell, for sure! Thanks for the opportunity : )
Katrina says
I would use this in a stairwell off our bedroom. We also live in an old house (our bedroom was built in 1775) and the stairs are very steep, narrow and curvy.
Lara says
I NEED Mr. Beam in my kitchen! I just moved into a new apartment and their is just not enough light in the kitchen when it is dark. I have been looking for some cheap lights, but winning these would be better!

Hi Andrea!
I would love to use these in our new home. It is not super old (1988), but it is Tudor style and our upstairs bedroom has dormer angles in it w/a small skylight. We have one ceiling light. Unfortunately, there is no lighting near or in our closets. One morning I even put two totally different (size/color) stud earrings in without noticing until I got to my hairdresser’s. Ooops!
Also, I’d love these for our stairwell going up to our room. Our four-year old sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night. She’s on the main level and I get worried that she’ll fall coming up the steps trying to climb them to get to us.
Thanks for a great giveaway offering!
Kiely says
These would work great in the closet that my washer and dryer sits in! I love the bathroom sink idea too. As we get closer to winter and the days get shorter, it’s nice to have some added light early in the morning and in the evening. This looks like a great product– thank you for the giveaway!
Deborah in Atlanta says
I have closets and a stairwell that could DEFINITELY use these. Can’t wait to go look through all the other items. Thanks for the giveaway.
amanda weiden says
Our kitchen and one of my sons rooms could really use these! How do I enter? Amanda
Alana says
I need one in my pantry, one in my coat closet, and in the hall outside the bedrooms.
Jana says
I could really use these in my kitchen, there just isn’t enough light in there right now.
Kristen says
I have several closets that could use the extra motion light and my boys’ bathroom at night when they have night potty breaks. Thanks for the giveaway.
P.S. I just found your site through Pinterest and love it! Thanks for sharing all your wisdom and experiences.
Erin says
I could definitely use these in our hallway. My kids think they need to turn on the hall light to walk down it 5 steps, but often forget to turn it off again. These would also be great in several closets that have no lighting at all. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Pamela says
Oooohhh…..I’d love one of these lights for my back entry. Great product!
Nichole says
We are in great need of lighting for our basement stairs. I seriously risk breaking my neck every time I venture down there!
Jenni says
I would love to be able to have light in my hallway at night….
Tammy says
Well when we built our house, we put a pot-light (I think that’s what they are called) over our shower but did not put one in the other bathroom which my child uses to shower. I’m not sure why we didn’t, I guess just one of those things your over look, but this would be great for that.
Catherine says
I would use the night lights in the hall outside the bedrooms. That would make the trip to the bathroom easier without having to leave a bright light on all night.
Thanks for the chance!
Kylee says
I desperately need some lighting in my garage. These would be great!
Michelle B says
What an awesome product and giveaway. Our house was built in 1893 so I definitely understand lighting issues. I’d first start with our staircase, its really really dark here at night in the country and I cant tell you how many times myself or our older dog has slipped misjudging the stairs in the middle of the night. This product not only would be nice to have, it would solve safety issues in out home. Thanks for this opportunity and the wonderful information on Mr. Beam wireless, motion-censored lighting! ๐
Karen says
These are so cool. I like the idea of having them in the shower!
DeAnn Burnley says
Over the kitchen sink! Stairway to basement!
The Gaertegang says
We have 3 closets that have NO lights in them! Why? I’m not sure, our home is only 13 yrs old, so I’m not sure what the excuse is that they didn’t install lighting….super annoying! I would live to add these to my closets! Thanks for the giveaway!
Janet Marriage says
I too live in a 100+ year old home and I understand about the lack of existing ceiling mounts and outlets! I can think of 5 great places for these but I would probably start in my daughter’s room! (Then my son’s!)
