    My favorite gift was a Kindle! So perfect for my commute! I was traveling and commuting to work carrying really heavy books and my boyfriend knew EXACTLY what I needed 😀

    My most favorite birthday present ever was when I opened up a box featuring a 1960’s avocado green travel iron–a gift my mom wanted to pass down from her college days to me, as I was about to start mine. She was sentimental and I tried my best to convince her I appreciated it and loved it. She urged me to open up the box itself so all could admire the iron. Out dropped a note from my parents saying that I should take the iron with me on my high school graduation trip to GREECE with 6 of my best friends! It doesn’t get any better than that 🙂

    One of my most favorite birthday gifts in recent years was a pair of cowboy boots that I had complimented a friend on in front of my mother-in-law. Months later I had forgotten about them and then opened them on my birthday! It was super sweet that she remembered.

    My favorite birthday present had to be when my mom suprised me by taking me on a cruise. Usually our presents are not quite that excessive by any means, but I was having a tough year in college and my mom knew I needed a vacation. It meant so much that they would take care of me like that!

    My favorite recent birthday gift was my Kindle Fire from my husband. He knows me so well- I love reading but hate stacks of books and magazines cluttering up my house!

    My favorite birthday gift was always spending time on a “girly” outing with my Mumsy. I was the only girl after 4 boys… so special to be celebrated & affirmed in my femininity. (Now we live too far away to get together, so the memories hold great value.)

    My birthday gifts are usually very simple and not the most memorable part of the day. It’s always the time I spend with my family that means the most. 🙂

    Happy Birthday!
    My favorite birthdays celebrations are anytime my family takes me out for a meal! Someone else cooks and someone else cleans up the mess!! 🙂 Although, there was one special dinner my husband completely planned for my birthday. It was at our house but he took care of every detail and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

    The last two years I’ve spent part of my birthday with the whole family, then I snuck away with just my mom for some shopping and a break from my two little ones. The perfect combination 🙂

    Happy Birthday Andrea! My favorite birthday gift is having dinner with my family…..brothers, sister-in-laws, nephews, parents, husband and kids. It is a loud crazy mess and I love it!

    Happy Birthday! I just had my birthday as well…Go summer birthdays!

    My most favorite birthday gift of all has been my family necklace. There is a mother and father holding hands with three little children between them. It represents our family (except the new baby we are expecting) and it warms my heart each time I see it. Guess hubby will need to update that piece of jewelry come October this year!
