    My best birthday presents have to be the ones that my daughter made when she was young. When a child pours their heart out on a card, there is nothing better.

    My most favorite birthday gift was 3 years ago when I wasn’t in the best financial/ mental situation in my life. My then boyfriend (now husband) gifted me a fancypants wallet and tucked all sorts of currency in it from around the world. He separated them by region and placed the notes in different compartments of the wallet with little notes on how we will travel here and there and everywhere together someday! I still use the wallet and we have traveled a LOT ever since- using the currency on all our journeys!
    We still have lots more travels to go, though 🙂

    My all time fav bday gift was the bear I got when I was 5. He was one of the first Kmart bears and he slept by side all the way up to and through college. Now he sits on the bed in my spare room welcoming guests that come to visit.

    My most favorite birthday gift was the one my older sister gave me the first birthday I celebrated after our mother died (she passed away 7 months before I turned 28). One of my older sisters made me a stuff bear with a recording of our mother’s voice in it. How we all missed her (me and my 6 siblings) and that gift is one that I will just never forget, it brought tears to my eyes that day and still does when I push the bear’s paw and hear my mom’s voice. 🙂 Happy Birthday!

    my favorite birthday present this year was the surprise party my husband planned for me. he had never done anything like that before and he did put a lot of thought into it 🙂

    My favorite birthday gift was my son. He was due on my birthday, but was kind enough to not put mommy though that on her birthday. He was born 5 days before my birthday.

    My favorite birthday gift was when my sister and her whole family flew in from Houston to Buffalo for my 50th birthday weekend last summer. I had big party at the beach bar with my hubby’s band playing that day. The day was beautiful and it was fun celebrating with my family and friends.
