To say I’m super excited about today’s giveaway would be a HUGE understatement. I’m absolutely thrilled and honored to be able to share today’s featured business — Better Life Bags — with all of you.
Better life bags (a Michigan-based small business) was founded by Rebecca after her first son was born in 2009. Her initial goal was to make a cute diaper bag for herself — but since then it has grown into SO MUCH MORE than that!
She still creates one-of-a-kind custom bags, but she does so while giving back to her local Detroit, MI, community and helping all sorts of women in need.
You see, each Better Life Bag is made by a special women in Rebecca’s local community who otherwise would not have a job. Rebecca finds these women, teaches them how to sew her bags, and provides them with an income — and more importantly dignity, honor, and respect.
So while the Better Life Bags are not necessarily the cheapest bags on the market, they are so much more than just bags. They are an opportunity for all of us to give back and do more than just purchase fashionable bags for the women on our Christmas list this year.
I hope that as you begin your holiday shopping this year, you’ll consider purchasing a Better Life Bag — here are a few of my favorites:
Oh, and I absolutely love their Children’s A-Z Prayer Cards — the perfect Christmas gift for teachers, coaches, parents, grandparents, etc.
However, my most favorite product from Better Life Bags is their set of 3 Nesting Pouches.
Not only are these pouches the perfect size to organize almost anything in your purse, diaper bag, gym bag, carry-on bag, or any other bag; they also “nest” inside of each other for super easy storage.
I use my nesting pouches in place of our diaper bag when we’re just going on a quick trip or I don’t feel like lugging the diaper bag around.
The largest nesting pouch is the perfect size for 3 diapers and a travel size package of wipes; the middle pouch is great for a burp cloth and a couple small toys; the smallest pouch stores some baby snacks and a pacifier.
These bags come in tons of super cute fabrics (both outside and inside the bag) so you can customize them for anyone on your Christmas list this year.
I’m always a huge fan of supporting local businesses, especially those that give back to their community. So since Better Life Bags fits both categories AND they offer so many super cute products, I’m simply thrilled to be sharing them with you today.
Of course, a fun giveaway is just an added bonus!

I would use them to hold my personal things-billfold, cell phone, house keys-in my work pickup, so I only have to grab one thing to carry back into the house after work.

I just stumbled across this blog when looking for what you can and can’t freeze, and I LOVE it!!! Those bags look awesome! I have a two year old and my choices for leaving the house with him are a giant diaper bag or a big Elmo backpack! I would use them to go out and about. They perfect for a pull up or two, wipes, and of course fresh underwear in case of any accidents!!!

I am such a bag hoarder! Any size, shape, color, texture…. I have to have them all. I have problem right! I would use these bags in my everyday purse…one to keep snack in one (I always have a power bar or bag of nuts with me at all times), one for the small essentials you need, clippers, kleenex, etc, the other bag, I’m thinking would be good for coupons.
Love your site and your new kitchen!

These are gorgeous and I love the thoughtfullness behind the creation. I would use these inside my larger purse to organize the medical supplies I always have to keep on me. These would be much more cheerful than the zippie bags I’m using now.

I think I would use mine for the diaper bag too! So cute to hold my little bottles and packs of goodies. Super cute!

Michelle says
I use a small backpack to carry both my stuff as well as my preschooler’s items like a change of clothes, snacks, entertainment. These would be great for separating specific things and keep them from becoming jumbled at the bottom of the bag.

I would use this to organize all the extra crap that floats around in my big favorite purse – diapers feeding/medical supplies for my daughter, make up, coupons, planner, phone etc. It would sure be nice to have some things that match so to speak rather than using old free gift with purchase bags!
