The winners will be contacted shortly!
It’s Labor Day weekend — and for Dave and me, that almost always means some sort of painting project. The Home Depot always has a great rebate on Behr paint {my favorite paint} so we usually stock up on plain white paint and then have it tinted later as we decide on color choices.
This year, we’re painting our kitchen walls and ceiling, a bunch of trim, and our front entryway.
I just LOVE how a fresh coat of paint totally transforms a room (or a piece of furniture) for less than $30! What an inexpensive, and relatively simple project, especially for those of us who enjoy painting.
And even if you don’t love painting, but you do it anyway because you’re too cheap to pay a professional, I’ve got a fun painting tool that will make your life just a little easier…
I first heard about The Paint Brush Cover a few months ago, and I’ve had ample opportunities to test it out over the course of our kitchen renovations this summer.
These covers are a really simple concept, but boy do they save your brushes — which means they save you time and money by protecting your brushes from drying out. And they work WAY better than plastic wrap {ahem… speaking from first-hand experience!}
So if you’re planning any painting projects, or if you’d just like to protect and properly store your current brushes, you just might want to give The Paint Brush Cover a try!
You can watch the video about how it works; you can order The Paint Brush Cover directly from their website {which is also full of helpful tips}; and you can also enter to win one of 25 that I’m giving away this weekend!

I can wait to start painting my son’s room. He’ll be almost a year old soon and I’ve been waiting to learn about his little personality. I usually go with the plastic baggie method of keeping my brush from drying out, but this cover looks a lot neater.

You have inspired me to tackle my “guest” room, also known as the catch all/dumping ground/place to hide stuff when company comes to dinner! Hope I’m a winner:)

I can totally vouch for these. It’s amazing to think that painters have had problems with drying brushes and throwing them away to buy new ones for so many years – when all it took was one genius idea and the determination to make this into an awesome product.
The paint brush cover should be in every painter’s toolbox, whether you are amateur or a pro!
