I often find that after a long, Holiday weekend away from my “regular routine”, it’s more difficult for me to buckle down and get back on track.
Can you relate?
Dave and I got SO much accomplished this weekend and crossed a bunch of things off our very long to-do lists. However, this morning, I just wanted to keep painting and working on different house projects because that’s way more fun than my normal routine!
It’s so easy to simply forget about the mountain of dirty dishes, the piles of dirty laundry, the stack of papers on your desk, etc. etc. and tell yourself that you’ll get to them “later”.
Even for me — someone who is almost always motivated to clear our clutter — it’s surprisingly easy to just let it sit.
Need Some Motivation?
If you’re feeling the same way, here are a few great blog posts from around the web… and I KNOW they will help motivate you to get back on track after a long weekend or family vacation {they certainly worked for me!}

So what will you accomplish today?

You are so right, clutter builds up way too easily.
I try to tell myself how much easier it is to tackle the clutter if I continue to put things away right after I use them, wash the dishes straight after dinner, etc. But sometimes I don’t listen. 🙂 (sigh)
