UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to Michelle (shellysmith@…) and Becky (rlf102@…)
Now that school is in FULL swing again, I’m wondering if any of your schedules are feeling overloaded?
If you’re like Dave and me (and we only have one child) you were rudely interrupted from your glorious summer break and forced back into the strict school schedule — life is rough, isn’t it 🙂
If you feel like your family’s schedule is out of control…let me take 10 minutes to introduce you to the Calendars & Chores Etsy Shop.
With a name like Calendars & Chores, I feel like the products are pretty self-explanatory — HOWEVER, the super cool thing about all of Jen Peterson’s calendars, chore charts, and to-do lists is that they are ALL magnetic and they are ALL dry/wet erase. This means no paper waste and no need to purchase refill pages or duplicate calendars every year.
.
And while all the Calendars & Chores products are fun and fabulous, the product I’m most excited to share with you today is the Large Magnetic Dry/Wet Erase Calendar.
Isn’t it pretty?
I have a feeling this calendar just might be able to help with some of your family scheduling woes… keep reading to learn more!
What makes THIS calendar different?
This calendar is so much different than other Dry Erase calendars because the weeks are separated and can easily be moved — so you can always plan 5-6 weeks ahead (and you all know how much I love planning ahead!). When the top week is over, you simply erase it, pull it up, and move it to the bottom of the calendar. You then move the other weeks up and you’re ready to plan some more.
This means you’ll never get to the end of your calendar AND you’ll never have to go out and buy another calendar!
And for those of who you live and die by the calendar on your phone, I can speak from experience that it’s still really nice to have one big family calendar in the home to keep everyone on their toes.
A few more details:
Each magnetic calendar kit comes with 6 weeks of separate strips for weekly planning. It also comes with one “days of the week” strip and all 12 months as separate magnetic strips.
Each piece is completely backed with a quality magnet.
Each calendar comes in a variety of colors and fonts.
Each calendar comes with a choice of frame color. The finished product is 27.5″ x 23.5″.
BONUS: each calendar will automatically come with a “memo” strip with the following categories: Upcoming Events, Grocery List, To Do List, Notes
So this calendar really does have EVERYTHING to help you get and stay organized (at least when it comes to your schedule!) Plus, it looks fabulous hanging on your wall!

Andrea you are always giving great ideas. I am currently struggling trying to find a way to be better organize. I always forget things, I have to write everything down so I can remember, but I feel I don’t have the time to do it.. I think having this calendar will help me a lot.

OMG! that is so pretty! I just took down my Thirty-one door organizer because I no longer wanted the clutter on my pantry door but now I don’t have a visible calender! This would be FABULOUS!!

How could I NOT use this in my home?? My husband and I both have full time jobs, and we have 2 small kids who aren’t even in grade school yet and still somehow have social calendars and activities. I am also a paper and pen kind of person, as much as I love my smartphone; writing things directly on a calendar helps me remember them better. Plus, it’s awesome. Best calendar I’ve ever seen. Please ohpleaseohplease pick me!
Molly says
I was just telling my husband our calendar system is not working for us anymore. With five kids it is always a challenge to keep on top of things and this looks like it would work great.
Laura says
Great system! I use my phone calendar, but this one could be in a central area so we can all use it. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win it:)
Cindy says
Oh Andrea you had me with just the picture! But the fact I can remove week one to the bottom & always have the current week at top is an added bonus! & then get to choose color font & frame? I only have 2 words…pick me!!!!

Right on the front top door of our refrigerator where our old target one is..This calendar has more space in the days to write more into ..Definately will help my husband and I to become more organized than ever before:-)

This is AMAZING! I love the idea that I can just pull up a week when it is done and move it to the bottom! This would make scheduling out my family of 6 so much easier! And it is so pretty! That also mean’s I would not have crazy notes written all over the current month’s calendar because I could plan out 6 week’s in advance AND stop over booking!
Rebecca S. says
I would love to use this for my kids chores or maybe even for my regular calendar.
Thanks
Rebecca

What a great idea to have the weeks separate! I for one dislike having a calendar full of past events. We are moving into our camper trailer to live on our land in the next week! Our fridge is not magnetic so I wasn’t sure what to do for a dry erase type calendar. Here’s my solution!
Anne Allen says
I would totally rock this calendar/white board in my Kitchen! I have sooo many sticky notes and magnets on my frig, keeping everything organized is CRAZY!
Love it!
Thanks for the give away!

My life is crazy?! My husband works full time, while being on call for six weeks then off for two, and he also has a side business; my VERY busy and curious 2.5 year old just started preschool and has school trips along with other other activities, and my 4 year old just started FI Jk and she has school activities to tract along with therapy. I also volunteer with a few organizations. Whew! So this calendar would be helpful to track it all!
Verity says
This would be great in our office to keep everyone on the same page.
Dawn Kaestner says
I currently use a chalkboard for events and chores but it can be messy and tedious to update things. This would simplify my life so much!
Jennifer Gregory says
I would keep all of our kids activities and my husband’s work schedule on it. It would help a lot to be able to just erase when something changes!
Melinda says
I would love a calendar like this to use for all of my projects I’m working on in my office and around the house! As I finish a project, I can add the tasks I need to do in order to complete the next project. Love it!
Melinda says
Ok, now I’m torn! I also think this would be a great calendar to put my menus on each month. The quality is so nice that I would love to display my menus on it in my new kitchen!
Sheeba says
Such a great idea! I would use it in our mudroom so everyone can add things to it as they come and go!
Rachel says
Right now I have multiple dry erase boards hanging on the fridge – one for each of the 5 of us. Would love to get rid of the clutter on my fridge (I HATE having ugly things hanging on my fridge!). There is so much to keep track of in regards to school work, tests, practices, games, parties, events, etc. I can hardly wait until Friday to see if I win ๐
Melissa says
What a really neat system! My husband and I are closing on a house next month and this would be great in our new home (probably in the kitchen) to keep track of appointments, our irrigation schedule, family birthdays, etc!
