Have you ever been somewhere without your computer and needed to charge your cell phone, your MP3 player, your camera, or some other device that would normally plug into your computer’s USB drive?
So frustrating!
I was actually shocked that some of our most recent technology purchases didn’t even come with a wall or car charger — only a USB charger, which means I’d need to have my computer with me and turned on in order to charge these devices.
Until Now…
I was recently asked to try out Energizer’s newest Universal USB Charger — which is only about the size of a small apricot and easily plugs into any wall outlet for instant “chargeability” for all USB device!
I was absolutely thrilled with how simple and easy it was to use — and the fact that it really is “universal”. It will work with any USB charging cord — camera, MP3 Player, smart phone, cell phone, etc. All you have to do is plug your charging cord into the USB outlet on the front of the Universal Charger, then plug the charger into the wall. Done!
The charger is so small that you can easily take it with you wherever you go.
Oh, and just in case you don’t have the right charging cords, Energizer is also including a Mini and Micro USB charging cord that should fit the majority of your chargeable devices {at least they fit most of ours!}
Sound like something you could use to help reduce your cord clutter?
Good, because THREE lucky Simple Organized Living readers will win a fun Energizer Prize Pack!
The Giveaway:
1 Energizer Single USB Wall Charger
1 Energizer Micro USB Charging Cable
1 Energizer Mini USB Charging Cable
This is such a cool, clutter-free giveaway and I just know you’ll love it as much as I do!

My biggest problem with all the cords is how UGLY they are!

With two teens and two adults ALL with multiple devices that need to be charged, the cords can be a menace. This looks like a great solution to one of life’s technological frustrations!!

I cannot stand the cluster of twisted wires on my kitchen countertop (this is the place that my husband and son have decided to charge everything)! I just want to throw them all in the trash and pull my hair out while I am screaming out the door!!!!
Suzanne says
Cords…they are so unsightly and always seem to be a jumbled and tangled mess!!!
Megan Camp says
The cords behind the TV are the worst. Too many. Too huge. All tangled (even with velcro straps to help contain them!)
Rachelle says
I hate how the tv center has to stick out an extra 3 inches just to leave room for all of the cords!
Shelly says
How neat~ My husband travels a lot and these would be perfect for him.
Heather Ratliff says
I hate dealing with the cords under my desk. I have a 9 month old who loves to explore them!
Becca @ Crumbs and Chaos says
It’s frustrating to have SO MANY different cords and their chargers. Every time you get a new device there’s a whole new set to deal with!
Zolane says
Until I saw your recent post on how you control your computer cords under the desk, I would have said that. (Thank you!) Now, it’s all the cords that are tough to hide because of our old, but full of character, home’s lack of outlets.
Miranda says
I hate, hate when cords tangle!
Ally says
Keeping track of what I’ve brought where (making sure I have all of the cords) and then them getting tangled! And most of my cords look the same, so making sure I have the RIGHT one! Doof.
Kelly says
Losing them! I wish there was a universal cord for all phones, cameras, Kindles, everything!
Muriel says
My biggest issue is keeping track of which cord goes with what device – phone, camera, video camera, holiday decorations, etc.
Desi says

The biggest problem is that there are too many cords and they are dangerous. And of course no one likes them better than my 18 month old son.
Annette W says
Tangles drive me crazy! These would be great Christmas presents!!
Kristen says
How cords cannot be sized to your preferred length. Sometimes cords are too long and you have quite the excess, or sometimes you have cords that are too short.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Holly says
Between me and my two teen-age boys we have 3 phones and 3 ipods that are always lying around in different spots and someone always seems to be yelling for a charger code. this could really help us out.
Shelbie says
How have I not seen this product before? Amazing! As of now, our biggest cord frustration is that our son (a toddler) LOVES cords – eating them, pulling them etc. It doesn’t help that we have our laptops and ipods plugged in all over the house!
Laura says
I can’t stand how messy and cluttered the computer cords/cables look! The tv is almost as bad. What a great product!
Cheryl says
My biggest frustration is that, during storm season, I keep them in a bag in case I need to hurry to the basement, and then I can’t tell one cord from the other when I want to charge something!
Milehimama says
I LOVE that my devices all charge with a mini-USB- my camera, my video camera, and my phone. SO convenient, especially bc I bought a USB plug in for my car so I can use the cigarette lighter to charge my camera or my phone. But it would be convenient to NOT have to use my laptop when charging things inside!
My biggest frustration is the CORD SPAGHETTI that infests my computer desk. I organize the best I can but there’s just too many devices all intertwined.
MaryBeth says
Frustrated with the amount of cords we have all over the house for various devices…drives me nuts!
Sue says
We have cords EVERYWHERE.. with trying to keep up with the kids with using batteries and such.. UGH.. and when you hit the cords with the vacuume cleaner.. UGH !
I need this..

Brenda says
My husband is understandably frustrated when his cell phone is dead because the kids used his cord to charge their devices. This would give us peace and harmony in the home, not to mention clutter free around the plugs.
Donna G says
My phone cords (both of them) go in “that ” drawer in the kitchen. You know the one – it has the tape, and the batteries, and other vitally important stuff in it. And the camera charger is on top of my battery backup unit next to my CPU. Well, I forget where the battery charger is half the time, and since there are two phone chargers, they get tangled up in themselves (yes, they are bundled up with a twistie) and also get stuck in the drawer. And I have a paper box lid with all the extra cords that MUST go somewhere, and I would be certain to need if I were to dispose of. Such an attractive item to be sitting in the floor of the spare bedroom.
Jenni says
computer cord clutter is the worst!! even now, with a laptop, there are so many cables!
Amy from Texas says
My female Siamese cat loves to chew on cords. I have to keep them out of reach of a little kitty’s mouth. Very frustrating, but she’s worth it.
Amy A. says
My biggest frustration is the quantity and trying to contain it all!
Nikki says
My biggest frustration is there are cords everywhere around our house and I doubt that we even use 20% of them. I am afraid to get rid of them because they may be the ones we actually do need again.
Alyssa says
Defintiely the cords for all the devices! I wish they could just create one universal cord and I can rotate everything that needs to be charged. I have seperate chargers for: my iPhone, my Blackberry (for work), my Kindle, my camera, my hands-free ear piece, my iPod…and this list goes on!
K Jerread says
Cords indeed. Unsightly. attached or unattached, they are always tangled.
Marci says
Our cell phone cords, because they are plugged in and unplugged every day.
Judy @ A Meek Perspective says
My biggest cord frustration is around the television or computer. Too many cords, not enough outlets!
