I decided to sign up on Every Woman and I am so glad I did! My Diastasis Recti is horrible, 4 fingers 🙁 and the low back pain doesn’t let me sleep at night. So I am super glad I started this program. I’m not sure what to tell you for “tips” on the breathing process… that’s the foundation of the entire program (the belly breaths) so you definitely want to get that figured out, but I don’t feel confident giving you instructions after only being in the program for a few months. I wonder if you could reach out to their customer service. They are SUPER helpful and have always gotten back to me right away with any questions I had.

I started their program mid November, and agree that the breathing part can be tricky to get down! Without the extra steps the exercises add in, try practicing their breathing without watching the videos. Expand your belly when you breathe in (let the air fill you up!), and then let your stomach become smaller as you exhale and the air leaves your body. It definitely takes some practicing at first!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I suppose it does take a bit to get used to the breathing…I can say that after a few months of doing this EVERY DAY, it feels quite normal 🙂

I’ve had two winners from your past blogs – personalized planner and Bend soap and deodorant. Thank your for sharing both!! Bend has the BEST deodorant ever!! I’ve tried other natural deodorants to help detox personal products and nothing worked…until the Bend deodorant!! I also love their soaps. I’m working my way through the sample soap pack and love the scent and feel of the products. Just placed another order this weekend to share as Christmas gifts. Does it stain your clothes? I’ve tried a few natural deodorants that work but stain awful so it’s not worth all the extra work. Thank you 🙂

Hi Amy,
The deodorant doesn’t stain my clothing, but it is a little more “greasy” in the summertime. That’s the only real difference I’ve noticed from traditional deodorant.
That said, I also don’t wear silky or delicate fabrics (mostly just cotton) so I guess I can’t speak for those types of fabric.

oh wow — if you are plant-based, you really would love the grain mill. The health benefits of freshly ground grains are SO amazing! For me, it was sort of something I just had to buy to and then figure it out as I went along. I purchased a handful of different grains and just started experimenting. I eventually found my favorite recipes for pancakes, waffles, quick breads, yeast bread, etc. and now I just stick with those favorites so it’s super quick an easy!

Love your newsletters/blogs SO much! I read your email about simplifying Thanksgiving Day and decided to try cooking the turkey the day before; it worked GREAT!
I haven’t cooked a turkey for over 30 years, since our family settled on Thanksgiving at my brother and sister-in-law’s home (we’ve been having Easter at our house and Christmas with my sister’s family). That changed this year because of the virus.

I have enjoyed your helpful ideas, recipes, hints, and family and house/yard updates for several years, and appreciate the effort. Lately, though, it’s infrequent and serious, and not the same. I know things change. You’re one of several bloggers I follow who seem to be going through the same thing, including one who apparently sold her blogging “empire”, and now it’s not the same at all, so that one I stopped. I guess I also am not looking to buy products, so occasional mentions are OK, but when that’s the whole focus, it’s a turn-off. Just an opinion from me. Wishing you all health and happiness.

I have followed you for years even though my children are grown and married, and have blessed me with 12 grandchildren. I love all your ideas. My husband and I just recently bought the exact nutri-mill grinder, as our daughter-in-law has a similar one. I know you had one, but forgot what brand you were using.
