In case you missed it, yesterday was the BIG DAY when I launched my “new” website. So of course, I thought we should celebrate today with a fun giveaway!

Well, it just so happens that my friends over at Hoover recently launched some new products of their own… and they’ve graciously offered to give away TWO of their newest vacuums to help us celebrate!

1. The Hoover High Performance (available at Walmart)

2. The Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable (available on Amazon.com)

And since it’s THAT time of year when we’re all trying to “spring clean” and organize our homes, I figured new vacuums would be the perfect giveaway!

 

First, let me tell you a bit about these brand new vacuums — and yes, I was lucky enough to receive BOTH vacuums to use in our home. I’m also lucky enough to have a husband who is willing to vacuum — but unfortunately, Hoover can’t help you with that one 🙂

1. Hoover High Performance:

This vacuum really IS “high performance”.

This is how much junk it sucked out of our living room carpet AFTER I vacuumed with our previous vacuum, and I usually vacuum twice a week! (I included my hand in the picture so you could tell just how much dirt and dust this really is)

It’s super powerful, and seamlessly maneuvers from carpet to hard floors with the twist of a knob — making it the perfect tool for our home.

It also has a boatload of “on board” attachments that transform this vacuum into a vicious pet-hair-grabber, crumbs-in-the-crack-finder, and kid-mess-picker-upper.

The Hoover High Performance is reasonably priced at around $175 and currently available at most Walmart stores.

2. Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable:

Since our house has a basement, a main floor, a second story, and a heated outbuilding (with carpet), we frequently have to lug our vacuum up and down stairs… and to the outbuilding to vacuum, so I’ve been on the look-out for a light-weight, affordable vacuum that still has LOTS of suction and power.

Well, the Hoover Air Steerable is all that and more — plus, it’s super easy to maneuver around (and under) furniture.

It’s super powerful, but extremely easy to lift up and down stairs, or wherever you need it (it’s less than 14 lbs.) I’ve actually used it a couple times to vacuum out our cars because it has a nice long hose and great attachment options.

The last time I checked, the Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable was on sale for only $159 via Amazon.com!

 

Hoover has a really fabulous new marketing campaign for these two vacuums — I absolutely LOVE the commercials!

    What a great give away! We go through vacuums once every 5 years and I’m due for a new one! pet hair and kid traffic make a good vacuum a necessity.

    I am already subscribed through my RSS reader (netvibes). I have a dog and he sheds quite a bit, which does not help with my allergies. I have a Hoover Pet Smart, but I would really like to upgrade, to a vac that is more powerful to keep the pet dander at bay, and my allergies in check.

    I have been using the same vacuum for way too long. The handle is broken, the suction is low, the floors are dirty. A new vacuum is just what I need. I have a small dog living on carpet and tile. I could put a vacuum to good use. Thanks! Btw, I like the new site.

    My existing Hoover vacuum of several years, love it though I do, simply doesn’t cur it anymore. The motor is slowly dying despite my best efforts of cleaning filters and changing belts and removing hair (I have veryyyy long hair and shed a bit…ahem)

    I would love a new Hoover vacuum because my current vacuum is trying to retire and I am in the market for a new vacuum cleaner. My current vacuum cleaner is old, loud and heavy, so I would love all the features & technology Hoover offers. Not to mention, it’s Spring time, which means more dust and allergens I would love to suck up with the Hoover instead of floating around my home. Thanks for the opportunity.

    I would LOVE a new Hoover vacuum because I have a small but mighty fluffy kitty that loves to leave his white hairs all over the floors and furniture and my 8yr old vacuum just isn’t able to handle it like it used to! The Hoover High Performance looks like it is ready for the challenge!

    We have been renovating our basement – our house built between 1900 and 1907 – and the sheet rock dust is unbelievable, not to mention all the cooties that have gathered over the past 100+ years. We’ve already had to replace our wet/dry vac, and now my little Bissell is groaning and moaning, and when we turn it on, it complains that it’s naptime, not worktime.

    My biggest concern is for my rug in our front room. It was sent to me by my oldest son. In 2003. For Mother’s Day. From Iraq. Bought in Sulimanayah. On his first deployment. Would love love love a new vacuum, and if for no other reason, to keep this very treasured rug in the best shape possible.
