In case you missed it, yesterday was the BIG DAY when I launched my “new” website. So of course, I thought we should celebrate today with a fun giveaway!

Well, it just so happens that my friends over at Hoover recently launched some new products of their own… and they’ve graciously offered to give away TWO of their newest vacuums to help us celebrate!

1. The Hoover High Performance (available at Walmart)

2. The Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable (available on Amazon.com)

And since it’s THAT time of year when we’re all trying to “spring clean” and organize our homes, I figured new vacuums would be the perfect giveaway!

 

First, let me tell you a bit about these brand new vacuums — and yes, I was lucky enough to receive BOTH vacuums to use in our home. I’m also lucky enough to have a husband who is willing to vacuum — but unfortunately, Hoover can’t help you with that one 🙂

1. Hoover High Performance:

This vacuum really IS “high performance”.

This is how much junk it sucked out of our living room carpet AFTER I vacuumed with our previous vacuum, and I usually vacuum twice a week! (I included my hand in the picture so you could tell just how much dirt and dust this really is)

It’s super powerful, and seamlessly maneuvers from carpet to hard floors with the twist of a knob — making it the perfect tool for our home.

It also has a boatload of “on board” attachments that transform this vacuum into a vicious pet-hair-grabber, crumbs-in-the-crack-finder, and kid-mess-picker-upper.

The Hoover High Performance is reasonably priced at around $175 and currently available at most Walmart stores.

2. Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable:

Since our house has a basement, a main floor, a second story, and a heated outbuilding (with carpet), we frequently have to lug our vacuum up and down stairs… and to the outbuilding to vacuum, so I’ve been on the look-out for a light-weight, affordable vacuum that still has LOTS of suction and power.

Well, the Hoover Air Steerable is all that and more — plus, it’s super easy to maneuver around (and under) furniture.

It’s super powerful, but extremely easy to lift up and down stairs, or wherever you need it (it’s less than 14 lbs.) I’ve actually used it a couple times to vacuum out our cars because it has a nice long hose and great attachment options.

The last time I checked, the Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable was on sale for only $159 via Amazon.com!

 

Hoover has a really fabulous new marketing campaign for these two vacuums — I absolutely LOVE the commercials!

    OMGosh. How funny. My dirt devil just broke and it went out in this mornings garbage. Just told my mom last night I should go to walmart and look for Hoover. They last forever! Winning one would just turn this month around for sure! Good luck to all of us hopeful winners 🙂

    I would love two new vacuums. We also have a multi-story home. In addition, we have a BIG dog, two cats, and two kids. These carpets take a beating.

    My current vacuum hose has a bunch of duct tape on it and it doesn’t “suck” anymore. That’s a bad thing. 😉

    I would love a new Hoover vacuum because I’ve burned through 3 “sale-priced” vacuums in the past 5 years (none of them Hoover brand)…. I’m grateful to have even bottom of the line these days, but getting a Hoover would be like getting the diamond ring of vacuums!

    I would LOVE to win this vacuum because I just had a baby boy 11 weeks ago and I worry about dust when I put my baby down for tummy time. It just so happens that my old vacuum just broke, so this would be awesome. Not only would I be happy, but my baby seems to enjoy the vacuum sound 🙂

    Our Hoover just died yesterday which was also my Birthday. So, I took the kids to Wal Mart on the way home hoping to simply pick up a new one, but they were out of stock. So, I selected a different brand because I didn’t want to go home without a vacuum. Would love to have a reason to return the one I bought!

    I have 2 German Shepherds and 1 Doberman. The Shepherds are inside alot and I practically have to vacuum daily. I would love a new vacuum.

    I would love this vacuum, because I have a little one who is going to start rolling and crawling soon. I vacuum often with our other one, but it just doesn’t seem to do good, and with a golden retriever, there is always tumble-weeds everywhere.

    I have seen these commercials and have been secretly pining for one of the new Hoovers…in particular, the lightweight Air-Steerable version would do wonders for me. Although I am a generally fit mom of 4, I have struggled with dominant-side neck/shoulder pain and low back pain from scoliosis for a decade…have not been able to find a lightweight vacuum that still cleans AND helps to not aggravate my injuries so much. I vacuumed last Thursday and am still icing my neck and traps from the over-use :/ Love the look of and vision for your new site, Andrea! Way to go 🙂

    I would love this! My current sad vacuum has a broken handle so you have to hold the bottom of the machine when you push.

    Almost three years ago after we found out we were pregnant with our first child, we packed up all our belongings, moved 45 minutes away into my late grandfather-in-laws house to be closer to the in-laws so they could help us out with daycare. Unfortunately Grandpa was an injured war vet who couldn’t really get around much and neglected to do much cleaning before he passed away. The first time I walked into the master bedroom suite 5 months pregnant I had an asthma attack because of all the dust. We’re talking over 100lbs of 1960s purple shag carpet that had to be torn out and replaced. Moving from a small 1200 square foot home into a 3200 sq foot home while pregnant was so overwhelming. Fast forward to today with two babies and I feel like I am just now starting to get a handle on a cleaning routine for our large home( thanks in part to your blog) . I would LOOOOVE a new Hoover vacuum cleaner to not only keep up with two babies, the dust, the stairs and the hubby, but simply because Hoover is the best and I could replace the ancient old vacuum cleaner we inherited with Grandpa’s house that works about 60% of the time.     I would love a new vacuum because I am obsessed with clean floors. I lose a lot of hair in a day and my husband complains of the hair in the van . I remind him we have 3 daughters so with styling and primpng there will be hair.:] Also we have a dog. Thank you so much!
