In case you missed it, yesterday was the BIG DAY when I launched my “new” website. So of course, I thought we should celebrate today with a fun giveaway!
Well, it just so happens that my friends over at Hoover recently launched some new products of their own… and they’ve graciously offered to give away TWO of their newest vacuums to help us celebrate!
1. The Hoover High Performance (available at Walmart)
2. The Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable (available on Amazon.com)
And since it’s THAT time of year when we’re all trying to “spring clean” and organize our homes, I figured new vacuums would be the perfect giveaway!
First, let me tell you a bit about these brand new vacuums — and yes, I was lucky enough to receive BOTH vacuums to use in our home. I’m also lucky enough to have a husband who is willing to vacuum — but unfortunately, Hoover can’t help you with that one 🙂
1. Hoover High Performance:
This vacuum really IS “high performance”.
This is how much junk it sucked out of our living room carpet AFTER I vacuumed with our previous vacuum, and I usually vacuum twice a week! (I included my hand in the picture so you could tell just how much dirt and dust this really is)
It’s super powerful, and seamlessly maneuvers from carpet to hard floors with the twist of a knob — making it the perfect tool for our home.
It also has a boatload of “on board” attachments that transform this vacuum into a vicious pet-hair-grabber, crumbs-in-the-crack-finder, and kid-mess-picker-upper.

2. Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable:
Since our house has a basement, a main floor, a second story, and a heated outbuilding (with carpet), we frequently have to lug our vacuum up and down stairs… and to the outbuilding to vacuum, so I’ve been on the look-out for a light-weight, affordable vacuum that still has LOTS of suction and power.
Well, the Hoover Air Steerable is all that and more — plus, it’s super easy to maneuver around (and under) furniture.
It’s super powerful, but extremely easy to lift up and down stairs, or wherever you need it (it’s less than 14 lbs.) I’ve actually used it a couple times to vacuum out our cars because it has a nice long hose and great attachment options.
The last time I checked, the Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable was on sale for only $159 via Amazon.com!
Hoover has a really fabulous new marketing campaign for these two vacuums — I absolutely LOVE the commercials!

We could SO use a new vacuum. For years I’ve been using an old Kenmore canister vac that my friend found in a dumpster and fixed. The hose has to be taped to the wand with duct tape, and the cord rewind doesn’t work. A new vacuum would be like vacuuming in heaven, assuming heaven had three dogs, two kids and a grown man who clomps in from the backyard in his muddy workboots!

Mine has been through 15 years of everyday use. Car cleaning, three kids, saw dust, and drywall dust. It is a Hoover . The best ever made.

While I have a wonderful commercial-grade canister, I have a hard time using it. I have rheumatoid arthritis in most of my joints so vacuuming is more of a chore than it ought to be.

Oh my goodness! Pick me, pick me, pick me! I need a new vacuum! We live in a really tiny place and have a small compact vacuum with no attachments! I need attachments! We also have to store a small shop vac, which is a pain to lug around just when you need an attachment. So, yes…simplifying and going from two vacuums to one would be amazing. 🙂

I would love a new vacuum as the one we have has hoses falling apart. You have to carefully hold the hose/pipe to the beater, or it will fall apart. Buying a new one right now is not in the budget.

I am currently in need of a new vacuum. The one I own now sucks (and not how it is suppose to). I have to go over the carpet a few times in different directions and then I have to get down on my hands and knees and pick the rest up. It is such a chore (pun intended) to vacuum. Please save me from my nightmare (I literally dream about being forced to vacuum.)

I would love a new vacuum because my present vacuum Is loud, I have to change filters between cleaning all the rooms, and has no suction power to speak of….I vacuum 2x a week or more because of my daughter’s allergies…
