In case you missed it, yesterday was the BIG DAY when I launched my “new” website. So of course, I thought we should celebrate today with a fun giveaway!

Well, it just so happens that my friends over at Hoover recently launched some new products of their own… and they’ve graciously offered to give away TWO of their newest vacuums to help us celebrate!

1. The Hoover High Performance (available at Walmart)

2. The Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable (available on Amazon.com)

And since it’s THAT time of year when we’re all trying to “spring clean” and organize our homes, I figured new vacuums would be the perfect giveaway!

 

First, let me tell you a bit about these brand new vacuums — and yes, I was lucky enough to receive BOTH vacuums to use in our home. I’m also lucky enough to have a husband who is willing to vacuum — but unfortunately, Hoover can’t help you with that one 🙂

This vacuum really IS “high performance”.

This is how much junk it sucked out of our living room carpet AFTER I vacuumed with our previous vacuum, and I usually vacuum twice a week! (I included my hand in the picture so you could tell just how much dirt and dust this really is)

It’s super powerful, and seamlessly maneuvers from carpet to hard floors with the twist of a knob — making it the perfect tool for our home.

It also has a boatload of “on board” attachments that transform this vacuum into a vicious pet-hair-grabber, crumbs-in-the-crack-finder, and kid-mess-picker-upper.

2. Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable:

Since our house has a basement, a main floor, a second story, and a heated outbuilding (with carpet), we frequently have to lug our vacuum up and down stairs… and to the outbuilding to vacuum, so I’ve been on the look-out for a light-weight, affordable vacuum that still has LOTS of suction and power.

Well, the Hoover Air Steerable is all that and more — plus, it’s super easy to maneuver around (and under) furniture.

It’s super powerful, but extremely easy to lift up and down stairs, or wherever you need it (it’s less than 14 lbs.) I’ve actually used it a couple times to vacuum out our cars because it has a nice long hose and great attachment options.

The last time I checked, the Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Steerable was on sale for only $159 via Amazon.com!

 

Hoover has a really fabulous new marketing campaign for these two vacuums — I absolutely LOVE the commercials!

    We have 2 floors and one vacuum cleaner. It would be nice to have one upstairs and one downstairs. And/or – since our current vacuum has seen better days, it would be nice to have a new one.

    Just came across your site via Pinterest, and subscribed! I am expecting our first child in July and am desperately trying to “catch-up” on all the organizing and house cleaning I’ve neglected over the last few (nauseating) months. But with a dog and two cats, I feel like I have to vacuum every day with our crappy little $60 vacuum and I’m sure ya’ll know exactly how often it actually happens. A vacuum that actually sucks would be pretty helpful, and a new “toy” may inspire hubbs to do it, too 🙂 Enjoying your blog and going to check out more posts!

    OMGosh! I would love to have one of these vacuums. We purchased our house 10 years ago from a lovely widow. The house has a central vacuum system and the prior owner left us the hoses, power head etc for the sytem; however they must have been 15 years old at the time. Over the ten years, I’ve hinted and mentioned to my hubby that we needed new vacuum hoses since they were held together with duck tape and the heads were constantly falling off! Finally in November I had the last straw and ordered a new set online. They came and worked beautifully for about two weeks! I returned and still waiting for my refund!! PLEASE, I could use a hoover!

    I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win a Hoover vacuum because my 7 month old needs clean floors to crawl on! We also have a little chihuahua who sheds on our rugs and that isn’t sanitary for the baby. This Hoover vacuum would also help to keep the hardwoods clean. I can’t wait!

    This is an Awesome Giveaway!! It would be great to know my carpets are getting really clean, with having a dog and constant traffic throughout the house. Would be great to have the feeling of having clean carpets and not making a second trip throughout the house.

    I have an in home hold care business so I have a lot of messes to clean up after. My vacuum gave up & I’m currently borrowing one. With babies crawling on the floor & toddlers tracking in stuff, I’m constantly cleaning the floors.

    nice! we have an old kirby… which works ok but is very heavy and a pain to lug up and down stairs. we paid way too much for it to get rid of it, but would love to have another one to leave on one floor and leave the kirby upstairs (or in the basement).

    This sounds like exactly what I need!! I would love one of these vacuum cleaners as my current one is on it’s last leg and I pretty much mean that literally because it is a canister and has no wheels left making it quite difficult to maneuver around the house…which my kiddos could attest to 🙁 And, sadly, I confess that we recently had a Kirby salesman come to the house and made such a fuss over the amount of dirt their machine was picking up (which I am hoping was just a part of their sales pitch because I vacuum regularly AND clean the carpets at least once or twice a year) but it sure made me feel awful; unfortunately, our budget did not allow us to purchase one but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted. After they left I wanted to sit down and cry but didn’t dare – what with all the dirt on the floor~ Anyway…great giveaway! P.S. I LOVE the new layout…congratulations!!
