Today is Dave’s birthday (he’s 31 — which is much older than me!) so in honor his birthday, I’m sharing one of HIS favorite organizing tools.
First of all, I do know that I’m extremely lucky to have a very clean, neat, and organized husband. And even though I take some of the credit for helping him to be more organized… I will also admit that he’s been neat and organized from the day I met him.
He’s actually so organized that he makes his own planner every year to use for school, coaching, and all his many other activities (looks like we are both quite particular about our planners!)
This summer, as he was preparing to head back to school, I got a package in the mail with a few Duo 7-Pocket Accordion File Binders. I was immediately intrigued by the binders because they were essentially two organizing tools in one compact unit.
I showed Dave (who was equally impressed) and the next thing I knew, he had “stolen” the Duo binders from my side of the desk and proceeded to fill them with his homemade planner, school papers, student council information, coaching plans, etc.
My new organizing tools were gone — and I wasn’t going to get them back!
Thankfully I explained that my husband was hogging our Duo’s… and they sent me another one for an important project I’m working on — I’m planning to share more about this after the New Year.
See how full my Duo is already!
This multitasking tool is a fabulous way to manage all of your papers, projects, ideas, and more.
Binder Features:
- 7-Pocket Accordion File with customizable tabs
- Sized to fit papers up to 8.5″ x 11″
- 1-inch 3-Ring Binder
- Elastic bands hold the binder and accordion file closed
Here are just a few ideas of what you could use your Duo for…
- Recipes and menu plans
- Home improvement information (paint swatches, ideas, invoices, receipts)
- Class materials for teachers, students, and parents
- Holiday gift ideas and receipts
- Travel itineraries
- Photos
- Coupons and shopping lists
- Tax documents
- Kid’s artwork, school projects, report cards, etc.
- and SOOO much more!
Dave and I use our binders every single day — and there aren’t many organizing products I can say that about. Plus, the DUO retails for around $15, so I’m thinking it might just be the perfect little add-on for a bunch of people on your Christmas list this year!
If you or anyone you know could use this handy organizing tool, I would highly recommend entering today’s giveaway!

I think the Duo looks great I have never seen them before. This would be great to organize all of the papers on my desk and counter and finally be able to them free of clutter. I have three boys and with all of their school papers and such my counter and desk are often cluttered.

This looks fabulous. This would be great for my recipes! I can think of a few other things it would be great for too. I’m thinking gardening – my garden layout map from each year (gotta keep those so you can rotate crops for healthy plants) notes and ideas I want to try would go in the binder and then my envelopes of gathered seeds can be organized by category in envelopes in the file section.

I love the DUO binder! I just put together my planner for the year and ended up using an old notebook. This binder is great because you can use the file for store coupons, fabric/ paint swatches, and flyers that I want to read but don’t want sitting out until I get around to them. I also posted on Facebook. I discovered you website by accident, but am looking forward to exploring it more. Thanks.
