Today is Dave’s birthday (he’s 31 — which is much older than me!) so in honor his birthday, I’m sharing one of HIS favorite organizing tools.

First of all, I do know that I’m extremely lucky to have a very clean, neat, and organized husband. And even though I take some of the credit for helping him to be more organized… I will also admit that he’s been neat and organized from the day I met him.

He’s actually so organized that he makes his own planner every year to use for school, coaching, and all his many other activities (looks like we are both quite particular about our planners!)

This summer, as he was preparing to head back to school, I got a package in the mail with a few Duo 7-Pocket Accordion File Binders.  I was immediately intrigued by the binders because they were essentially two organizing tools in one compact unit.

I showed Dave (who was equally impressed) and the next thing I knew, he had “stolen” the Duo binders from my side of the desk and proceeded to fill them with his homemade planner, school papers, student council information, coaching plans, etc.

    I would use this for keeping my middle school youth group paperwork organized. I really need to get on top of that!

    I am so in love with that thing! I could see putting all my home management things in there and keeping all the important schedules and papers in there so I could traipse all over the place with all my things.

    Trying to use digital filing as much as possible…HOWEVER…….I Need quick, efficient , compact, portable storage for things I need as Hard Copy. Real Estate, Your recipes and coupon suggestions,Interior room measurements, jot pad and ON and ON! REALLY REALLY REALLY like this… Hope I WIN but am getting one ( or 4) either way!! thanks!

    I am a literacy coach and constantly carry a binder and a clip board to organize all the papers that teachers give me. I also tutor kids for free… This would be an awesome way to organize their weekly work.

    I would use this binder to keep my direct sales business organized! I’d either use it for taxes or to keep my hostesses and team organized or BOTH! I’m always in my car so it would be a great tool to take with me when I’m on the go.
    I may get another one and use it for recipes, coupons and shopping list!

    I’d keep my automotive stuff in it. Receipts for tires, mechanical work, etc, plus charts for each vehicle on oil changes, reg. maintenance, all the stuff I’d love to have in one place.

    Well that is a toss up! I am a teacher so I can see that it would be very useful at school. Last year, I taught high school…the students did not like carrying a lot around…this would come in handy to store papers for all their classes in one place. I also can think of a couple of different ways to use it at home. I’m curious to hear how you use it after the New Year!
