I LOVE holiday cards!

I love receiving cards, I love sending cards, and I really love coming up with a new idea for our holiday cards each year.

Last year, we sent a New Year’s card with Nora’s birth announcement on the back.

The year before, we sent a photo card with our new address.

    We cut back last year to just a package of regular cards with a photo of our family inside, but I’d love to send a photo card again!

    This could be the year I finally send cards with some kind of plan! Of course the baby will be front & center.

    I usually custom make the cards. I’d either clip on a photo of the recipient taken along with us or a scenic photo, and then dab a few drops of lavendar or tea tree to make my cards smell yummm 🙂

    Like every year I am planning to send cards to our families and friends in the US and in Germany. I usually write a year’s summary and send a photo along. Those cards would be perfect. 🙂

    I send photo CHristmas cards every year along with a family update letter. My neighbor last year gave three ring binders to her family that contained copies of 30 years of Christmas and letters. Now that was a timeline. Everyone loved it.

    We always send a photo card, but then I also create a photo sheet with some added info about our family and what we’ve been up to for the past year.

    I haven’t really decided if I’ll send a picture card (not sure if I want to spend the money) or a written Christmas letter with a picture or 2 on the side.

    I love the look of minted cards. We sent new year cards last year. This year we are hoping to get them out for Christmas

    We’ve gotten away from holiday cards in recent years. It would be nice to have help starting the tradition again.

    I plan to use our family photo i took and get photo cards made. We do this every year and family and friends do too. Always fun to see how much everyones kiddos have grown!

    We kind of flip-flopped your last two cards! Last year was a pregnancy announcement and this year will be our new address 🙂
