If you’ve never heard of Microplane kitchen tools before, then PLEASE, don’t click away!! 

I’ve been using Microplane tools for several years already and simply love how useful they are around my kitchen. One of my favorite uses is zesting lemons with their Ultimate Citrus Tool, but there are just so many other uses for these amazing products as well.

 

Here are some of my favorite Microplane tools — and yes, there’s a giveaway!!

1. Microplane Cheese Mill:

I love this tool because it’s so much easier to use than a rotary-style grater and the old-fashioned box graters that always cut my knuckles. The Cheese Mill has both a fine and coarse blade, as well as a lid to safely store the unused blade — plus, I guarantee you’ll never slice your knuckles again!

2. Microplane Cheese Plane:

This is the best tool I’ve found for quickly and easily slicing cheese — and I slice LOTS of cheese for our freezer! It works well with both soft and hard cheeses and you can adjust the thickness of each slice with a simple twist of the knob on top of the handle. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

 

3. Microplane Meat Tenderizer:

This brand new, ring-shaped Meat Tenderizer quickly and easily breaks down fibers of tough cuts of meat with its razor-sharp etched blades. It’s also really easy to use because you can simply rock it back and forth over your meat — no more excessive pounding!

4. Microplane Ultimate Citrus Tool:

I saved the “best” for last — my favorite Ultimate Citrus Tool! The one pictured above is their new design which has been enhanced to also include two garnishing blades, and a scoring blade to easily peel citrus fruit. See, I told you it’s a must-have tool for every kitchen!

    I have a zester that I use a lot – almost exclusively for lemons and we are officially spoiled to fresh lemon zest.

    I’m most interested in the cheese plane – I’m tired of slicing cheese with a knife, although I’m also tired of grating my knuckle…

    I have the old version of the Microplane citrus grater. I actually use it most for grating fresh parmesan cheese over pasta, but I also love it for citrus fruits as well!

    I have never used any of these products, but I’m sure it would make it easier to zest and peel citrus in the recipes I use.

    Never even heard of Microoplane products. I’ll try anything so I don’t slice my fingers, knuckles, hands anymore! That would be nice and my skin will thank you! 🙂

    I would definitely want to give that cheese mill a spin. My rotary style shredder broke a little over a month ago so I have been buying the kind that’s already shredded.

    I would love to try the Meat Tenderizer. A few dinners this week required a lot of pounding and those dinners were late because I didn’t want to wake the kids from their naps so I had to wait until they were awake in order to do it.

    I LOVE Microplane products. My favorite is there zester–i use it for everything. Citrus, ginger, garlic cloves (when I’m too lazy to chop), and even hard cheeses. It’s perfect. 🙂

    I have never used any of these tools before, but I’d really like to try the cheese slicer. I’m terrible at evenly slicing cheese, so that’d be perfect!
