If you just read the title of this post, you might be wondering what a “Life Locker” is… right?
My Life Locker is the ultimate organizational system.
Think of it as your own personal filing cabinet: one tidy spot to keep your entire life’s information.
My Life Locker covers your whole life, not just one area — everything from your family,to your home, your finances, your internet user ID’s, your passwords, and more!
My Life Locker is a place for you to record your details, print the pages that apply to you, and keep your hard copy somewhere safe — or use the digitally encrypted copy on your computer for easy reference.
My Life Locker is organized into four sections, each one a SECURE place for essential information.
- Locker #1: Me and My Family
- Locker #2: My Important Things
- Locker #3: My Valuable Money
- Locker #4: My Everything Else
Within each locker is a series of categories and specially designed, easy-to-use forms to record specific information.
My Life Locker covers practically every possible category, but if you need a specific category, it’s very easy to customize and modify if necessary.
If you live in Canada, you can buy the digital or print version of My Life Locker. Everyone else can purchase the digital copy of My Life Locker… and then use this helpful information to set-up and organize all your information.

I don’t know that I can honestly say that our important information is ORGANIZED! I mean, some is in the safe deposit box at the bank, some is in files in my desk or a file box under it (I only have a small drawer), the tax receipts are in a file box since I pitched a hissy fit…my Internet passwords are in a book on my desk and business cards, addresses and household info are in binders on my desk – well, you get the picture I’m sure.
Laura Meyer says
I organize in a file cabinet, or digitally.
Susanne says
I have a pretty haphazard way of filing! Most things are in file boxes in the basement, but b/c they are not convenient, things tend to pile up. One of my problems is that I do not know which things I should keep!

Most of our stuff is in a filing cabinet. Some of my own things are in a desk filing system. I can always use more ideas for organization, though!
Sandra says
Household information is stored in files. All of our other personal information, cleaning schedules, take-out menus, phone numbers, birthday dates are stored in a home management binder that I created that is specific to our family. Then there are computer files where important email and research is kept. It certainly could be more streamlined though. It would be amazing to have it all in one location.

All of our important info is kept in 2 filing cabinets in about 25 labeled folders. It makes me smile to look at that little organized area of the house, but my life locker sounds like a great prize and I’d love to win and give it a shot!

Ohhh, I’m so embarrassed. I have good intentions. We have a 3 ring binder in a kitchen cupboard. Most of the time the papers get shoved in the front of the binder. However, we are bad about setting papers in the cabinet on the binder. We are trying to get better at the binder system. Thank you!!!
Lynn says

We really need something like this for both my husbands things and mine. We have files, but they are separated in his office and mine…and we have different ways of filing and organizing.
