Weekend Giveaway: My Two Favorite Anolon Pans

When I got married, I received a really nice set of pots and pans… and over the past 6 1/2 years, I’ve used a few of those pans every week (if not every day). There are a few more that I use occasionally, and there’s one that  I’ve honestly NEVER used!

I like the idea of getting a complete set of pans (especially for wedding gifts and new home owners).  However, based on the way I cook, it’s smarter for me to spend a bit more money buying only the pans that I use every day — and then save cabinet space by not storing the ones I don’t use!

I’ve done a good job of paring down my pots and pans to a reasonable amount — and I honestly do use every pot and pan in my cabinet. I promise 🙂

However, if I could only pick 2 pans to cook with for the rest of my life, I would pick:

  1. a medium size covered sauce pan
  2. a medium size covered frying pan

Yes, I would definitely miss the rest of my pots and pans, but most of the food I cook could be made in these two pans (pasta, sauces, meat, grilled sandwiches, small batches of soup, etc)

Since I use these 2 pans all the time, the ones that came with my wedding set were starting to show quite a bit of wear and tear. So I was thrilled when Anolon offered to replace these two pans for me… and even more excited that they also want to share my two favorite pans as a giveaway 🙂

1. Anolon Nouvelle Copper Stainless Steel 9.5-inch “Everything Pan”

This pan really is an “everything pan”. You can use it for everything from grilled cheese sandwiches, to vegetable stir fry, chicken parmesan, casseroles, and more.

Personally, I LOVE that is doesn’t have a long handle like a traditional frying pan (because it takes up less room in my cabinet). I also love that it can go from the stovetop right into the oven — which means Dave has fewer dishes to wash 🙂

2. Anolon Chef Clad 3 Qt. Covered Saucepan

My old 3 qt. saucepan was totally shot because I used it so much.  And while I still plan to use my new Anolon sauce pan just as often, I think it should hold up a little better because it’s really heavy-duty.

I love that it has a tempered glass lid so I can see if my water is boiling (or if the potatoes are ready to boil over), I love that  it has a nice big handle that I can grab even with an oven mitt, and I love that it’s dishwasher safe!

    I use my small fry pan all the time.. a quick egg or just to heat something up quick

    I have a large frying pan that I use for everything. Even things that most people would do in a saucepan.

    I invested in a set of Belique pans and skillet. I do love them but like you ther are a couple I rarely if ever use. So expensive to buy separately though!

    My favorite pan is my old Calaphon saucepan. We have used it daily for years!

    I like my magnalite sauce pans that I’ve had since I got married. They work awesome and clean like a dream. I rarely use the non stick sauce pans I got in a set. I use a small or medium fry pan every day. Those are non-stick Analon’s but I’m learning to love a cast iron fry pan too.

    my favorite pan is either my normal small saucepan (good for most things i cook) or my ginormous soup pot (for huge pots of chili that last weeks in our house!). i’d love to win these pots to try something different! i’m scared to spend a lot of money on new pots because i never know what works well and what doesn’t.

    I love my sauté pan an medium sauce pan! I wish we had better quality ones. My dollar store ones just don’t cut it. I actually found paint chips in my pasta yesterday! I am in need of new pans. I could desperately use these! You seem to enjoy them so much I know I would, too!

    My favorite pan is a cast iron skillet. But I would love to have the Analon Everything Pan!

    I love my everything pan. It’s similar to yours, but it’s a few inches deeper. It’s perfect for hamburger helper-type one skillet meals.

    My favorite pan is a big stock pot, I use it to make everything, but probably because I don’t have a decent sized smaller one.

    I use a generic anolan frying pan 9 ” I think — have had it for 17 yrs.. along with a big 6 qt or so one for soups! Surely showing lots of wear.. not sure if it’s bad to use at this point .. Love them .though! How great that they replaced yours!! Hoping for a chance to win some myself 🙂

    My favorite pot is actually my little 1-quart. I use it ALL the time, I’d be lost without it. In fact, we are in the middle of a big move, living in temporary housing for four (plus) months. It’s the ONE pan I brought with as I knew it wouldn’t be in our rental, that I would miss.
