I realize it’s currently the middle of February, and not anywhere close to the “New Year”… however, it’s a known fact that most (if not all) of those ambitious goals and resolutions we make at the beginning of a New Year start to fade away after only 6-8 weeks.
So, since we’re just a little over 6 weeks into the New Year, I thought today’s giveaway would be a fabulous way to encourage you to stay on-track with the goals you made just a few weeks ago 🙂
How are you doing with your goals?
You can read more about my New Year’s goal of Ultra Simplicity here… and I have to admit, it’s much harder to actually live simply than to just SAY I’m going to do it! It’s hard to say no to fun activities or worth-while causes; it’s hard to scale back on all the things I want to do; it’s hard to be satisfied with a less productive schedule or a not as clean home. But we’re doing it.
There are still plenty of days when I over-extend myself (and then regret it at 1:00am when I’m still working) but there have also been plenty of nights when we’ve been in bed by 10:30pm and haven’t felt totally overwhelmed or exhausted! Progress… right!
Anyway, as I mentioned above, today’s giveaway is a fabulous tool for those of you who actually want to stick with your New Year’s goals this year…
The NeuYear Calendar
The NeuYear Calendar is a HUGE calendar that shows you the entire year in once quick glance.
It hangs either vertically or horizontally (printed on both sides) so it can easily fit above your desk, on almost any wall, or on the back of a door; and it has no gaps between months so you can plan weekly goals with ease — which is probably my favorite feature.
The goal of the NeuYear Calendar is to help you be more productive… I like that!
If you’ve started to “slack off” on your 2013 New Year’s goals, the NeuYear Calendar might be just what you need to get back on track.
Enter to win one of 10 calendars below… or purchase one for 50% off using coupon code “SOL” (offer valid through midnight on Feb. 23, 2013).
Instructions to get 50% off = Go to the NeuYear website, click on “Products”, select the calendar you want, click “Add to Cart”, click “Checkout”, enter your email address and billing information, click “continue to next step”, THEN enter the promo code SOL to get your discount, select your shipping option, enter your payment information, and click “complete purchase”.
The Giveaway:
Today, TEN lucky Simple Organized Living reader will win a NeuYear Calendar!
How to Enter:
1. Leave a comment. How are you doing on your 2013 goals?

Hi! I need to write down my goals this year. I’ve been working 50 plus hours a week and feel like each weekend goes by too fast for me to breathe. Thankfully my employer’s busy season is dying down and I’m taking a vacation soon. Hoping to finally tackle my goals for each month and the year. I know I need to do this, I know I can do this!

I’m in the process of doing a organization of my whole house. I’m about 90% done. Had a minor set back w the kids getting the flu. Love your blog.
Katherine says
I decided to do monthly goals instead of yearly goals because last year I forgot about some of the yearly goals by the end of the year. So far, it’s working well – I completed every goal for January. February is already half over! which means I need to get working on some things, but it’s still going well.

I have set a goal of one major organizing project a week and so far I have accomplished that goal! This calendar would work wonderfully to see the whole year’s worth of goals and finished projects. I “like” you on Facebook and love everything you post. Thanks for the chances to win neat things!
Jessie says
Goals so far are not quite being met but working towards them for sure. Tough to break bad habits!
Evie says
I like you on Facebook! One of my goals is to repair and slipcover my old couch… Nowhere near the slipcover point yet, but I have my spring twine now and have learned to tie a clove hitch knot! This afternoon (when the room is sunny and I can see), I’ll re-fasten the loose springs to the webbing, and then it’s on to tying the springs! YEAH! Oh, by the way, your new post appeared just as expected on your website this morning, so looks like we’re over that glitch, whatever it was! Thanks for all you do, Andrea. This site is exceptional, really helpful.

This would be PERFECT for work! I am doing OK on my goals right now. I’ve been sick the last couple of days so that always throws me off track, but I’m getting back on track today. ๐

I’m doing pretty good. I am starting a blog and I’m doing it myself. Learning along the way. It’s fun. Right now things are going slow, but I am positive. I’m sure within the next few months I will finalize everything and be up and running and posting. ๐

Hi! Thanks for offering this great giveaway! So far I am doing great on my goals. I made time to work on each one by indicating it on my calendar and sticking to it! This calendar would make a great visual reminder!

I like you on facebook and follow you with as many tools ie RSS feed as available. I will also now go and like Neu year calendar.

I haven’t given up! But I also haven’t made much real progress. It is time to reassess and put firm dates on some of these smaller goals.
Erin says
I already subscribe to you ๐

My goal is for our family this year is to plan some “getaways.” My husband is a corporate pilot and always on call, so vacations are a little hard to come by. Short one or two days trips to local places though are much more realistic, especially with a one year old. I can plan our little trips on this calendar! ๐
Laurel says
Well, I was doing well until “life happened”! Those daily unexpected things that pop up that just suck the time and energy right out if you. I would love this calendar as I am “a big picture” person.
Carol says
I follow you on facebook.
Carol says
Doing good now on my two goals; however, it was a rocky start.
Kelly says
already on SOL, just liked NeuYear on FB
Donna G says
I am still looking for ways to realistically accomplish my goals, and get the Boss on-board with giving me a little time to accomplish them (that and I need to spend what little free time I have more productively…)
Kelly says
I am working hard at making my goals a reality. I am putting a little (or a lot) away each month so I can take my husband and 4 kids on an educational/family vacation to Washington DC and North Carolina this summer and not have to put one dime of it on a credit card. I couldn’t be there when my Aunt passed away in December so this trip means a lot, especially now that my cousin became engaged to be married yesterday! I have less than 20 weeks to save, so I could use the calendar as a motivational reminder!!
Jessie says
I am also already a fan of SOL.
Jessie says
Well, I’m struggling with my goals…. sounds like I need a new calendar to get me going again!
(well, and maybe a bit more self-discipline…)
Patti Trevino says
I am a subscriber via FB and RSS…a big fan of SOL?

I wish I could say my goals for the year are going well… This is the first year that I have used my electronic device to record progress and I am finding that I am more of a visual person. This calendar will be really helpful. Having my own business, I find that scheduling and keeping days off are my biggest challenge. It is so easy to just do a few things work wise on a day off and then it turn into a full work day. This calendar will be a great visual to help me pre-plan my days off for the entire year and stick to that recharge schedule.
Marlene says
I like both Simple Organized Living and NeuYear
Marlene says
On a percentage scale I’d give myself a 30% on my goals so far this year. I’m definitely working on and i’m going to try and switch up the schedule here and tweak a few things to see if that will help me get on top of them. This calendar would be awesome! I am a total visual person!
