I realize it’s currently the middle of February, and not anywhere close to the “New Year”… however, it’s a known fact that most (if not all) of those ambitious goals and resolutions we make at the beginning of a New Year start to fade away after only 6-8 weeks.
So, since we’re just a little over 6 weeks into the New Year, I thought today’s giveaway would be a fabulous way to encourage you to stay on-track with the goals you made just a few weeks ago 🙂
How are you doing with your goals?
You can read more about my New Year’s goal of Ultra Simplicity here… and I have to admit, it’s much harder to actually live simply than to just SAY I’m going to do it! It’s hard to say no to fun activities or worth-while causes; it’s hard to scale back on all the things I want to do; it’s hard to be satisfied with a less productive schedule or a not as clean home. But we’re doing it.
There are still plenty of days when I over-extend myself (and then regret it at 1:00am when I’m still working) but there have also been plenty of nights when we’ve been in bed by 10:30pm and haven’t felt totally overwhelmed or exhausted! Progress… right!
Anyway, as I mentioned above, today’s giveaway is a fabulous tool for those of you who actually want to stick with your New Year’s goals this year…
The NeuYear Calendar
The NeuYear Calendar is a HUGE calendar that shows you the entire year in once quick glance.
It hangs either vertically or horizontally (printed on both sides) so it can easily fit above your desk, on almost any wall, or on the back of a door; and it has no gaps between months so you can plan weekly goals with ease — which is probably my favorite feature.
The goal of the NeuYear Calendar is to help you be more productive… I like that!
If you’ve started to “slack off” on your 2013 New Year’s goals, the NeuYear Calendar might be just what you need to get back on track.
Enter to win one of 10 calendars below… or purchase one for 50% off using coupon code “SOL” (offer valid through midnight on Feb. 23, 2013).
Instructions to get 50% off = Go to the NeuYear website, click on “Products”, select the calendar you want, click “Add to Cart”, click “Checkout”, enter your email address and billing information, click “continue to next step”, THEN enter the promo code SOL to get your discount, select your shipping option, enter your payment information, and click “complete purchase”.
The Giveaway:
Today, TEN lucky Simple Organized Living reader will win a NeuYear Calendar!
How to Enter:
1. Leave a comment. How are you doing on your 2013 goals?
2. Like Simple Organized Living and/or NeuYear on Facebook, and then leave a separate comment letting me know you did {or that you do already}.
If you are reading this in your email or feed reader, please visit the actual blog post to enter. Email entries, Facebook comments, and Twitter messages will NOT be counted.
Prize:
(10) NeuYear Calendars as described above.
This giveaway ends at 10:00 pm on Monday, 2/18/2013 and is open to all U.S. residents 18 years or older. I will use And the Winner Is to select the winning comments at random. Winners will be notified by email and noted at the top of this post. Winners must respond within 48 hours of notification to claim their prize or I will choose a new winner. Please see my full disclosure policy and contact me with any questions you have. Good luck!

Doing well with my New Years goals of a restoring our simple life…such as less unecessary spending, saving for family vacations, and attempting another 10k this spring. The calendar would be a great way to keep myself, family, and husband on track for all our goals!

We are always striving to live better lives so we really don’t set goals at the beginning of a new year. We work on a goal and when we accomplish it we move onto another one. So far I’m doing pretty good with my current goal of making 100% of our meals. I did slip a week ago but that’s not too bad for 4 months.
Lisa L says
Doing moderately well on my goals. Of course there’s always the weight loss issue, but I’ve also been decluttering and just getting rid of stuff! Feels so freeing!!

I’m plugging away at my goals, but am not where I’d like to be.
My husband just mentioned this morning that we need to have a planning date to get some camping trips on the calendar. This resource would help my children see what is coming up in the months ahead.
Thank you!
Lisa L says
That is what I would like to use the calendar for too! Planning camping trips on a year long calendar would be such a great visual wouldn’t it?

I was just thinking yesterday that I need a big in my face calender to keep me on track, this would be awesome! My exercise goal has been a complete failure, but my decluttering is coming along.

This woudl be perfect for me as I severly broke my leg at the end of October, and I am just now walking again (it;s been a long 4 months) I am eager to get 2013 started. My first goal for the year is to walk again, and I can cross that off my list, now to get my house more organized.
Chris says
I am doing good. My goal for Jan was to organize my closet and I got that done. My goal for February was to repaint my living room. I am almost done. However, I did decide to keep the color the same and just touch up, so that helped it get done quicker ๐
