Congrats to Jaclyn (desiringtobetitus2@…)
I can still remember when we got our first few packages of newborn diapers several months before Nora was born.
They were SO tiny!
Fast-forward 14 months, and Nora is now big enough for size 4 diapers — which are absolutely huge compared to those tiny newborn diapers!
Although my mom and I are always on the look-out for fabulous diapers deals, I realize that they can still be quite expensive. So I’m super excited to share a great offer from Pampers and Target today.
Pampers is launching their Swaddlers diapers in sizes 4 and 5 at Target stores… and as a special promotion, Target stores are offering a free $20 Target gift card to anyone who purchases 2 packages of Pampers Swaddlers, Cruisers, or Baby Dry Economy Packs between January 27 and February 2, 2013!
But that’s not all…
I also have a fun Pampers / Target giveaway only for Simple Organized Living readers!

Our car broke down when our little one was 3 months old. The gas station nearby didn’t have a diaper changing station. The clerk said to me….”aw….go ahead and just lay him on that table over there and change him” as she pointed to an area where people eat. Thankfully there was no one else in the gas station! I wiped down that table GOOD!

I’ve changed multiple diapers in the car, on my lap, on the floor of a single bathroom without any other surface large enough…lots of places!

Well with two kids I would say that I have changed diapers just about everywhere. The car, public restrooms, church, on my lap, outside, etc. Nothing to exciting but I will say that for some reason with my daughter EVERY Sunday she would without fail have a complete BLOW OUT during Church. So I aways sat in the back hoping noone would hear her rumblings and smell her aroma before I could make it out to change her. Plus I always had to have extra clothes because she made sure to make a mess ๐

I had the lovely pleasure of changing my niece’s diaper on top of a column in downtown Detroit. I thank goodness had a blanket to put her on.

On the floor in a bar bathroom. We were on a road trip and the only restaurant for miles and miles was a tiny bar in a town with one street in the middle of nowhere. Which obviously did not have a changing table. Luckily I had a changing pad in my diaper bag!

We went to a birthday party for an 80-year-old friend and our almost 2-month-old son needed a change. We asked if we could use their bathroom, and were shown the guest room bathroom. It had no vanity, just a pedestal sink. So my husband and I had to balance our son on the toilet lid for a very tricky change! Thank you for this chance!

I have changed my kiddos diapers with my husband holding him up and I put a new diaper on because there was no where to lay him down. It worked but was a challenge!!

I changed them for three different kids in every place you can imagine. But the most surprised I was – when the Toys R Us bathroom had no changing area in the bathroom.
If I win, I will use the diapers for a baby shower present for a pregnant friend (we are thankfully through with the diapering stage!)

The craziest place I ever changed a diaper was on the floor of an airplane! The plane did not have a changing table in the bathroom, so I had to change a very messy dirty diaper right on the aisle floor. Thankfully my baby was only three months old at the time, so it was quite easy to do. Probably not the most pleasant for the other passengers, but sometimes, we have no choice ;).
