UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to:
- Debra (debrafoye@…)
- Sarah (sbjluvskids@…)
I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when my groceries get all jumbled together, smashed, or even ruined because the bagger doesn’t take his or her time to neatly bag them.
I always make it a point to thank and compliment any cashier and/or bagger who neatly organizes my groceries by type (boxes together, fruits and veggies together, meats separate from everything else, etc). I appreciate their extra attention to detail and I find that they can usually fit more items in a smaller amount of space if they do it neatly.
Maybe I’m just really weird though 🙂
Well, because of my somewhat obsessive grocery packing regimen, I’m just a little giddy to share today’s giveaway with all of you… the CRESBI Crates!
Ok, so if you’re wondering what in the world a “CRESBI Crate” is, let me explain…
CRESBI is actually an acronym that stands for Collapsable Reusable, Environmentally friendly, Stackable, Box, Idea. This video does a nice job of demonstrating how the crates can be used.
Not only is CRESBI one of our January sponsors, they are also offering a very generous giveaway of their grocery shopping crates!
I’ve been using their Colossal 6 Pack which provides more than enough room for my weekly groceries. I love the bright colors, I love how quickly and easily the crates fold down, and I love that none of my groceries get smashed or end up rolling around in the back of my car on the way home.
Nora actually uses the baby CRESBI Crate to carry toys and other objects around the house. It’s pretty cute!
Being an organizer, I immediately thought of 101 other uses for the CRESBI crates — like toys, craft supplies, packing for a quick trip, potlucks, and so much more.
I know I had never seen anything like the CRESBI crates before… so if you’re new to this concept too, you might want to check out a few more of their YouTube video clips to see these crates in action.
Oh, but make sure you come back and enter the giveaway!

If I had these crates I would use them for organizing in my craft room and possibly the back of my suv. First thing I thought of when I saw this was how in England they deliver the groceries in crates. They are so much more environmentally conscious since they don’t have a ton of land to be dumping all their trash.
Lindsay says
I can see using these crates for a ton of different things, in particular for in the car and for organizing all the kids toys.
Peitra says
I would use them in my car! With two small children, I need all the organizational help I can get!
Rebecca says
I already like Simple Organized Living on facebook. Thanks for all you do to keep us organized!
Rebecca says
Sorry – I just realized it was email newsletter, not facebook. I signed up for that, too!
Heidi says
I love reading your blog on my Google Reader! Thanks for writing such an informative and entertaining blog.
Steph S says
I’d use them for groceries on a regular basis, but I’m more excited about using them for road trips!
Rebecca says
I would use CRESBI crates for groceries, as you said – but also as “totes” to keep things organized – church stuff in one, yoga stuff in another – to keep things easy to grab and travel with. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I would use them in my Suburban for groceries, travel needs, sports (balls, shoes etc. for 3 kids)! So many uses!

Oh, these crates are awesome – I’d probably use them the same way you do – as grocery bins for the “way back” of the car! Also, great for a bin or two to use during vacation car trips – to keep a rotating bunch of toys/supplies organized and in my reach to hand to the little one!
Jenn L. says
I would definitely use them for the grocery store–I love that they are sturdy!
Melissa says
I would love using these for grocery shopping, especially for my trips to Costco or the farmers market! I currently have one collapsible crate in the trunk of my car, but unless it’s a very small shopping trip, I can’t fit all of my groceries into the one crate.

I would use these to keep in the back of our car for when we go grocery shopping and also for when I go scrapbooking. Love how they fold up!

I would use these for groceries, around the house, pretty much anywhere. The possibilities for this product are limitless I am very impressed by them!!!
Suzi says
I work from home occasionally and the two pack would be great for bringing things back and forth between home and the office.
Susan says
Organizing the trunk of our 15-passenger van, particularly for groceries. We have plenty of space back there, but disorganization does not max out its potential. Thanks for the opportunity!
Carol says
Already receive your email feed. Thanks!
Liz says
How did you know that the back of my car is currently covered in fritos because of a grocery mishap? These would be awesome.
Carol says
I would definitely use them for groceries in my car. I HATE the bags rolling or moving on the way home. It would also be wonderful not to have to get cardboard boxes every time when shopping at SAM’S.
christine says
I subscribe to Simple Organized Living. Thanks!
Barb says
I would definitely use them for my groceries, right now I use plastic containers, but they don’t collaspe so they take up alittle more room when not in use.
christine says
Oh goodness, these crates are awesome. I would definitely use for groceries and/or organizing the back of our car. Thanks to you & CRESBI for the opportunity to win!
Katherine says
I subscribe via RSS. Thanks!

I would use the crates around the house. With a three year old, one on the way, and a house the size of a shoebox, we’re always looking for more storage ideas!
Lauri P says
These look great. So many uses…but I think I’d start with organizing all of my daughter’s crafting stash.
Anna says
I’d probably use them in the trunk of my car, or maybe even just to keep things organized in a closet. Cool idea!
Tiffany says
If I had the CRESBI crates, perhaps I would actually remember to bring them in the store for grocery shopping. I always forget my reusable bags at home or in the trunk.
Deni says
I would use the 5 pack for groceries and whatever else I put in the trunk of my car, and for the 2 pack for smaller jobs like going to get local produce or a picnic. Hope I win!
