UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed.
Congrats to:

- Sarah (sbjluvskids@…)
I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when my groceries get all jumbled together, smashed, or even ruined because the bagger doesn’t take his or her time to neatly bag them.
I always make it a point to thank and compliment any cashier and/or bagger who neatly organizes my groceries by type (boxes together, fruits and veggies together, meats separate from everything else, etc). I appreciate their extra attention to detail and I find that they can usually fit more items in a smaller amount of space if they do it neatly.
Maybe I’m just really weird though 🙂
Well, because of my somewhat obsessive grocery packing regimen, I’m just a little giddy to share today’s giveaway with all of you… the CRESBI Crates!
Ok, so if you’re wondering what in the world a “CRESBI Crate” is, let me explain…
CRESBI is actually an acronym that stands for Collapsable Reusable, Environmentally friendly, Stackable, Box, Idea. This video does a nice job of demonstrating how the crates can be used.
Not only is CRESBI one of our January sponsors, they are also offering a very generous giveaway of their grocery shopping crates!
I’ve been using their Colossal 6 Pack which provides more than enough room for my weekly groceries. I love the bright colors, I love how quickly and easily the crates fold down, and I love that none of my groceries get smashed or end up rolling around in the back of my car on the way home.
Nora actually uses the baby CRESBI Crate to carry toys and other objects around the house. It’s pretty cute!
Being an organizer, I immediately thought of 101 other uses for the CRESBI crates — like toys, craft supplies, packing for a quick trip, potlucks, and so much more.
I know I had never seen anything like the CRESBI crates before… so if you’re new to this concept too, you might want to check out a few more of their YouTube video clips to see these crates in action.
Oh, but make sure you come back and enter the giveaway!

I forgot to add that the crates are ideal for warehouse shopping and some grocers where you supply your own containers and self-bag.

They look like a perfect size for groceries. I like the idea that you can plainly see what’s in the crates as opposed to plastic grocery bags. I often initially take in only perishables, leaving the rest for when I have to take a trip to the garage for another purpose. I now have to paw through the plastic bags to locate perishables.

Snowboarding boots, helmet, goggles, and snacks were my first thought. That’s the mom in me to put the kids first.
Then I thought, portable piano lesson organization, portable daily homeschool book storage, portaging food from the store to basement storage to the kitchen, and exporting toys from my living room. These would be for me!

I would use them for groceries and containing all the outdoor stuff like swim gear, picnic blankets and kid stuff. Thanks for the opportunity to win. Great looking product! ๐

I have two collapsible crates I got for college over a decade ago. Right now I use them for groceries, but I’ve also used them for shoe storage, closet storage, moving (we’ve moved 4 times in 6.5 years and they are great for carrying food or pantry items to the new house), carting craft supplies to Pioneer girls, packing my little one’s supplies for trips, etc. I love that the CRESBI crates come with a carrying bag! Thank you for the opportunity to win!

As soon as I saw these I knew they would be perfect for carting my produce to sell down to the local farmer’s market and making my CSA deliveries in. It will be easier keeping everybody’s orders separated.

Not just grocery organization, (though saving shopping bags would be fantastic!) but I run a daycare so drying art projects, transporting toys, hauling toys to and from the lending facilities, sorting activities, picking up toys, gardening, outside stations, the possibilities are endless!!
Lori says
I think it would be awesome for groceries or the library. I believe these would be the 2 main things I would use it for.
Melissa Mitchell says
I would definitely use to for groceries. An a teenager, I worked at a grocery store for a short time and was taught how to bag properly. Today, it seems very few people know how to bag your items and it’s always the most expensive items like produce that you so carefully pick out get slapped in a bag with a hard object bruising it. I would love to have these crates.
Teresa says
PS I follow you by linking you to my family blog ๐ LOVE to see when a new post is listed.
Kathy C says
I would definitely use these for groceries too. These look awesome and I will likely order some. Thanks for sharing!
Teresa says
I am slightly OCD when it comes to my groceries ๐ I always request my items get put in the correct location (bagged together) and meat always gets double bagged in plastic. I even have one cashier that does such a fabulous job that I search for her first in the checkout line!!!! AND make sure she knows why I come to her line–she is also super courteous and friendly!
So the question was why should I win these amazing crates…… well because I would USE THEM ๐
Lorna says
I could see myself using these crates to hold the pieces parts of jobs that I am working on! They would fit nicely on my shelves and hold a goodly amount! IF they ever made it to the car, they’d be perfect for groceries!
I follow you on Facebook AND I receive your emails each day!
